I-I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, b-but... I was wondering...

[He hesitates, debating with himself whether he should continue or not. After a moment of silence Ruca finally asks the question:]

Just... when do you start to consider someone... a "friend"?

[After hearing Bianca's words, Ruca can't help but wonder about that. Making friends is something he's never been good at; not to mention that "friendship" itself isn't something easy for him to understand either. He doesn't even know if anyone would want to be friends with him. ~~Who would want to have such a boring friend as him~~

There's another pause, as the boy reconsiders what he just had said and quickly, in nervous voice he adds:]

I-It really is a stupid question, isn't it? Y-you don't have to answer... I-I'm sorry for taking your time.

[Because it's something that he'd like to know sometimes, tbh. ...Though matter of fact is he isn't very good at the whole friendship thing either.]

It's not stupid, but it's definitely an obvious question! A friend is someone you trust, of course!

I didn't really think about it much, either.

[Ugh, she's someone that has such trouble with friends too. It's mostly because she has far too much pride, really, but.... she has an unspoken agreement with certain friends that they are friends, no matter how she treats them.]

...I guess it's just a feeling you have. Like you want to spend time with them and you don't actually mind having them around.

I don't know if there's any particular moment. It's more like realizing they're people you want to see that also want to see you though? People you want to spend time with and care for.

You would like to know when you could consider some one a friend?

[He considers his answer for a moment so there is a brief period of silence.]

That is a difficult question, but really it is something only you can answer. How do you feel about the person?
When ever you feel comfortable enough with some one, you like them, enjoy their company and they seem to feel the same way about you. That is usually when I consider them a friend.

[ A strange question, but a crucial one nonetheless. It is good that the boy is asking such questions instead of blindly assuming what he thinks is right. ]

A friend is an ally, someone who you trust to be by your side in good times and bad, but not necessarily the other way around.

Aaaa? Suppose it's different for everybody, but I've never once had a problem with making a friend. Aside from those times the person turns out to be evil or something.

It isn't as if... as if you look at someone and think, 'From now on, we're friends.' It's not - conscious.

When...you can trust them with very precious things. Physical or not.
