[ The feed suddenly turns on, the screen showing a stack of books rather than a person at first. However, after some shifting the feed shows a girl with twintails flipping through a book. She seems a bit unimpressed by what she's looking at and she closes the book, eyes closed and shaking her head. ]

This library is impressive, but so far I haven't found anything on Asgard itself. Are they that embarrassed about its history and land? [ She shifts a bit, crossing her legs. ] Then again, I would be embarrassed too if I was a great god and had to depend on some teenagers and a few adults to save the world. They're probably not telling us something, too.

[ A pause to let her words sink in a bit. Plus socializing is hard. ]

.... My name is Rin Tohsaka, by the way. I'm in Odin with fire abilities. [ A shadow crosses her face, and a more grim expression is shown. After all, she just came from a burning castle after watching her previous servant die. It's like the gods are playing a joke in her. ] Before I go, if there's a Shirou Emiya or a woman going by the name Saber around, please do tell me.

[ With that, the feed shuts off. ]

You won't find any books about this Asgard there at all. Unfortunately, the gods don't want to share that information with us and we have to piece things together on our own. I asked why once and was told by Odin that information was a resource they'd give out when they felt they needed to and not before.

But the Library is pretty amazing anyway. It's one of my favorite things about this world.

Figures they would do that. Geez, and they still expect us to listen to them. I guess it's only for the best. [ Odin, huh? ] So the gods show their faces sometimes? I guess you can colour me surprise.

I have to admit, it is a nice collection. [ Actually, she was overly impressed and would probably spend most of her days here. Right now, Rin gets up and goes to one if the shelves, pulling out a few more books. ] What kind of books are in here, anyway? Do they have information on our worlds?

I went through the library a couple times when I first got here and couldn't find anything, either. It drove me insane. [ She's still frustrated with it, too. Who bothers hiding their history? She bets countries back home that have less than stellar histories don't hide from it, even if they aren't proud of it. ]

I'm not surprised. They won't tell us anything unless they have to. [ A sigh and she closes the book with a slight head shake. ]

There's the central stacks, but they don't tell us what's in them and they don't let us in there. You could ask the librarian, but they're still not giving access as far as I know and Hel was less than helpful getting us in when I spoke to her last.

[So.... she broke in, but she's not saying that to someone she just met.]

That's not suspicious at all. [ Whoops, sarcasm aimed at the gods. ] I mean, really, they expect us to help them and they don't even give us information about this world.

[ Though, it makes her more curious about what they're hiding. ]

If you're clever, you may find a way to access their "top secret files." It's there, it's just a little more difficult to get to.

That's what I've been hearing. Oh well, guess they want to do this the hard way. I have no problem with that.

Ah, so they aren't overly useless. Well, at least they seem to give answers to important questions.

If I had asked everyone here, I would have gotten the same answer. And not everyone goes to the library, so maybe there was a chance I could find something everyone else missed.

You've captured exactly why the premise of this plot is shaky in the first place. Why would all-powerful gods leave their homeland in the hands of teenagers? At the very least they have given us powers, however their selection leaves much to be desired.

Even if people have powers here, some of them have never had this ability before and don't know a thing or two about how to use it, what to do, anything like that. I heard there's a few people offering to teach everyone about how to use them, but before that I can imagine the gods just gave us our power and called it a day.

No wonder the first battle was shaky.

Bigger problems besides what's going on now? You know, war, people turning grey and faceless, gods sacrificing themselves, gods not telling everything we need to know? Not to mention I'm sure we all have our own problems in our home worlds.

The gods appear on the bracelets sometimes, you could try and ask if you see one.
But they don't really like answering most of the time, one did make a guide for why we've be brought here though.
