[Eridan is seated on his bed, the window behind him showing off the festive twinkling lights of the city. The seatroll in question looks anything but festive however, huddled beneath the folds of his cloak, scarf wrapped tight around his throat. He scowls at the video, tugging the cape around his shoulders.]

Fuckin' great, wwe got another neww round a' suckers for the gods to toy wwith. I hope you're settlin' in wwell an' all that hoofbeastshit the humans spout off wwhenevver neww people showw up. You need anything? Don't come to me. Got it?

[He sneers, motioning towards the window and the gorgeous winter scene outside.]

An' these lights are somethin'  else. All fuckin' festivve like 12th Perigree's Evve. I'm sure they're "magical" an' "breathtakin'" an' all that trite sentiment.

[He holds up a hand in protest.]

But. More importantly, wwhy isn't anyone talkin' about this fuckin' cold. Howw long is this goin' to last? A perigree? Longer? Is this normal for this wworld or some kind a' damn curse? Wwouldn't surprise me if it wwere.

[As the fins would suggest, guess who's just a touch coldblooded.]

That was a real offer, Eridan. I am really going to go play in the snow, and I am extending an invitation for you to join me, in playing, and having fun.

[He's still not quite sure he's ready to hang out with the group again. Especially when half of them still want him dead.]
