video; why do I play these people
[ Hi, Asgard. I'm not sure how odd this picture is for most of you, but have some skinny guy with the most glorious mullet you will ever lay eyes on. Lynyrd Skynyrd roadie would be the best description, right down to the poor wardrobe choice. It doesn't help that he's already found Crowley's old bar and is posting from there, but at least he looks to be cheerful and well-settled. ]
Buenos dias, bitches. Now, apparently, if you're gonna go by Jo Harvelle's watch, I'm pretty damn late. I say her watch is a couple months too fast. Gods, man. No real sense of Earthly time.
[ He pauses to drain his glass of beer in a long, seemingly endless gulp. ]
No worries, though. Doctor Badass is in now. Party can really get started.
{OOC| That is, assuming Crowley's old bar is still in operation? It was on the list okay I do what I want.}

{OOC| That is, assuming Crowley's old bar is still in operation? It was on the list okay I do what I want.}
action;
[She's throwing a rag at you from across the bar, where she was just now trying to clean up the counter-top. Wow deja vu much, guys?]
action;
Hey, chill out. I never said it was your fault. But you were the one who got the party started without me. Thought Ellen taught you manners.
action;
[She sort of bristles at the Ellen comment, because. Well. Jo's still a little not over the fact her mom left. But she walks over to the other side of the bar, picks up the rag.]
She was here too, you know. For a little bit.
action;
[ He grows significantly more silent at the mention of Ellen, though. Being reunited with his pal Jo is great, but things aren't quite the same without Ellen. ]
Yeah? Was...was she doing alright?
action;
[She rolls her eyes, because there's no way her Heaven didn't include Ash. And her mom. But just mentioning her does bring a sort of silence to the room - she picks it up from Ash, and has to force herself to talk passed it.
Can't let it slow her down now. Jo nods.]
Yeah, I mean. About as alright as you can be. [a small smile.] She would have liked to see you.
action;
[ He's really not feeling it now, but he gives a chuckle and a smile anyway. That's Ash for you. He's rarely ever knocked down and when he is, he picks up quickly again. ]
I'd've liked to see her too. Man, you know, she still owes me a bag of pretzels.
action;
[ Jo knows Ash well know to know when he's faking it. And when he brings up the pretzels...well. It's rough. ]
Yeah. People come and go here. Maybe she'll come back again. [ but Jo doesn't have a lot of faith in that. She's come to realize it's just easier not to have a lot of faith in anything. Just make it day to day. ]
action;
[ It's all pretty rough, but Ash doesn't really want to dwell on it. At least he's caught back up with Jo, and that's good enough for him. Excuse him, Jo. He's going to change the subject by flipping through the list of travelers in the city. ]
Looks like the gang's all here otherwise. Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester--John Winchester? Been looking for him for ages. [ More scrolling. ] Aw, man, Leonardo da Vinci is here? Got to pop in on his Heaven once or twice. Not a very pleasant guy.
action;
Sam and Dean, yeah. John is from his teenager days - he's just recently married to their mom. Who... [she pauses, but then continues.] Their mom is here, too, but she's missing. [Moving on-] You do have to watch out for those names, though. Not everyone is the same as from our world. Even if they have the same name.
action;
[ And excuse him while he helps himself to another glass and continues to scroll through the list. You'll be paying for those drinks, Jo. ]
But I've seen and heard weirder. You don't wanna know some of the things angels gossip about, Jo. Speaking of which, how much do you know about this Castiel? Popular guy in the angel airwaves.
action;
Actually, I do. [Hey, she's curious. But then when he asks about Cas...well. She's confused. For a minute. But then she remembers and oh yeah....] You weren't alive when we met him, but he's Dean and Sam's angel friend. He was there when mom and I helped them out with Carthage. What were they saying about him, though?
action;
Aw, man. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff angels jabber on about when they think us ordinary folk don't understand. This Castiel guy is apparently a bit of a rebel among angels. They kicked him out of heaven, far as I can gather. That's a badass if I ever heard one.
Oh, and by the way? The head honcho doesn't greet you with a hug at the pearly gates. Apparently he's missing or something. Come to mention it, heaven's a bit lacking in pearly gates too.
action;
Cas? A rebel? [She laughs, shaking her head.] I mean, I guess you have to be to want to follow Dean and Sam around, but seriously? [But her laughs trail off, what he's saying kicking in. Cas? Kicked out of heaven?
It'd probably take even more time to sink in if Ash didn't just blow on past that and right onto one of Jo's bigger fears.] You mean God. He's not there. [ In Heaven. Where he's supposed to be. Ash might be joking around about all this but for some reason his words are a little hard for her to swallow. Even if she shouldn't be that surprised. Why would he be? How would it make sense if he was? She shakes her head more for her sake than anything. ] Guess that explains a lot.
action;
[ He shrugs, looking unimpressed with his own comparison. it isn't his best, but it's good enough. ]
Well, it's more of a "where on earth is Carmen San Diego" type deal? He seems to exist, but none of the angels know where he ran off to. Must have taken a hell of a roadtrip or something.
action;
[ not one of your better ones, Ash. She gives it a six. ]
A roadtrip. So like, he's on Earth somewhere. Unless there's more than just the Heaven, Hell, Earth combo package here.
action;
[ Look, at least you know now, Jo. ]
I'll let you know if I see any bearded dudes in white robes. I got my eyes peeled.
action;
You know, I almost don't even want to meet him if he is here. Kinda ruins the mystery, you know? [and she might punch him in the face. either way.]
action;
[ He's had a lot of time to research things in the afterlife, okay. ]
C'mon. You don't wanna meet someone who might look like the lead singer of ZZ Top? Man, I sure do.
action;
Haven't found it around here. Maybe this one doesn't have it.
[But then she's rolling her eyes and turning back to the bar, taking his empty glasses to the sink.]
Knowing this place, you have a better chance of meeting the lead singer of ZZ Top than God.
action;
[ Just this face. You know it's right. ]
Man, what if the lead singer of ZZ Top is God?
action;
[ how dare you make her revert back into her accent like that. ]
Well, I guess that's about as possible as anything else around here. I'll keep an eye out for him.
action;
[ You're welcome, Jo. ]
If you see him before me, get me an autograph.
action;
[ ash you so ridic ]
If I see him, I'll organize a personal meeting for you two.
action;
[ Oh, please. You so missed him. ]
I'd appreciate it. I'm available any day but Wednesday.
action;
[ It's true. When was the last time she got to compare Norse Gods to Walt Disney? Never, Ash. Never. ]
What are you doing Wednesday?
