[ It's almost evening, and though it seems the serious-looking woman in this video feed is in public - her back pressed to a wall that might be familiar to those observant enough to recognize the area around the city's central castle, her face flushed from the ambient cold - this particular message is very private.

As in, private to the entire populace- except the other 'traveller' who shares her face and name. Yes, Lightning actually went through the entire list, picking people one by one and completely disregarding how long it took her to do so. She means business. ]

I think it's pretty clear by now everyone's been stripped down 'power'-wise, but is there anybody who can still do something not handed down by these gods?

[ She takes a breath, annoyed. Addressing a lot of people at once, in so many words, really isn't her thing, but she's damn determined. Even though there's been others trying to do their own information-gathering, of course, she needs to make these specific questions very clear and get some solid answers before it drives her crazy. ]

Otherwise, is there any power here that lets its user imitate others? Anything at all.

[ And with that, she waits, trying to hold back her poor mood and any second guessing over what she should and shouldn't have said. What the video doesn't show so well is just how armed and stiff she is while going out now, caught up in her suspicion.

However, it isn't long before she finally decides to start heading 'home' again- to terrorize the poor people unfortunate enough to share a House with her. ]

I haven't heard anything about imitation, Oneesan, but I know a friend who met a girl here with a voice really like hers! Is that like what you meant?

It looks like people who practised things like drawing or fighting kept those things -- it's only powers or tools that have stopped working!

I haven't heard of anything like that at all. Although -- we're all from different worlds. I've met someone who is a historical figure in mine, but here is the same but different from how that historical figure was in my world ... maybe different worlds have the same people, just according to their world?

[ Yeah, just as she thought- it's not like she's heard of anything either for both matters, aside from her and her friends seeing something very strange. She's just not sure what other explanation there could be.

In the video her lips press together in agitation, and her eyes drift off-screen in irritated thoughtfulness. She does not, however, offer much more response. ]

[ Which isn't a perfect description of what she means - and obviously she's unfamiliar with how things work a lot of the time in other worlds - but... ]

There are jutsu like that where I'm from, but as far as I can tell I've lost any ability to perform any techniques from home. I don't think anyone else from there would be able to either. [ Or have a need, maybe, probably, POSSIBLY.

It seems everyone here has been stripped of any unusual power they possessed, even those they were born with. [He's unhappy about his own power being gone, but he won't mention it, and he has no choice but to bear with it.]

As for the new abilities we were given, I haven't heard of one like that, and in any case, the new powers are rather weak at this point. I don't believe anyone is capable of something so drastic, but if someone is, I'd be interested in learning more about it.

[ She doesn't know what's going on, then. He has a point though, about any 'powers' similar to what she's asking about not really being... existent... but even if they were, they likely wouldn't be strong enough to pull off a sustained imitation of another person, would they?

If they were another 'traveller' in the first place, that is.
