...How do you memorialize a god?  I realize that there are many of us here who still don't agree with the gods, their war, or the way they've chosen to go about fighting it, but I think we should all recognize the sacrifice that Freyr made.  Regardless of whether or not he was only trying to protect the other gods, it's a fact that his actions saved us all when everything looked hopeless, and he should be honored for that.  A funeral doesn't seem quite appropriate, but I'm not sure what else would be.

I'm not sure if I've ever spoken to him before, but.. knowing what these gods are like, he's probably super stubborn too.

I've heard him over the bracelets once. He's the most stubborn of all of the gods.

Of course, it's always the most difficult one to convince that we have to convince.. [ there's a sigh, but she shakes her head to herself. ] But that still means we can't give up, we'll just have to work harder!

[sparkling_eyes]

I'm just going to keep doing my best to keep people safe. Whatever I think about the gods' methods, that doesn't change the fact that we're all involved in their war now, so I'll do what I can until it ends.

[There's much more resolve in her words than there has been in the past.]

.. Yeah, it's what I believe in too. I don't want to fight for the gods, but if it's for the people I care about.. [ that's what she did during the war too, right? ]

It's all we can do.

[sparkling_eyes]

Right.

[Lyon smiles over the feed, feeling a little relieved that Asahi agrees with her.]

Let's both do our best, okay?

[ Yeah, Asahi has rather strong opinions on all these things, so agreement is probably for the best right now either way. ]

Heh, I know I will! They can't get Asahi Yuki down that easily!

Next time, we'll be ready.

That's right! The moment those enemies put a step in our direction, we'll just kick them right in the ass and send them back to where they came from!

[ Well, nobody can say she isn't passionate about this.. ]

Asahi... would you like to train with me sometime?

Ah..? [ She blinks - she didn't quite see the question coming, but.. well, not like it's a bad thing, right? And it's not like she hasn't trained with people here before.. even if they have an unfortunate habit of disappearing right after. ]

Sure! I mean, if you want to.. then I'd give it my all!

I'm at the Arena almost every day to begin with, so I don't mind. And we're unfortunately getting to the point where I think everyone should know at least a little about how to defend themselves in a fight.

Oh, no, it's not like I know nothing! I've already trained with some other peoplebefore, so I know basics.. and I've learned that I can pack quite a punch without even having some technique behind it, heh!

I'm glad. I can show you how to use a sword too if you'd like. It's really the only style I'm familiar with, though I've been thinking of learning archery too.

Now that's something I could still use help with! [ especially from someone she trusts. ] I can fight by myself just fine, but I don't know how to use weapons at all since I haven't done it before.
