...How do you memorialize a god? I realize that there are many of us here who still don't agree with the gods, their war, or the way they've chosen to go about fighting it, but I think we should all recognize the sacrifice that Freyr made. Regardless of whether or not he was only trying to protect the other gods, it's a fact that his actions saved us all when everything looked hopeless, and he should be honored for that. A funeral doesn't seem quite appropriate, but I'm not sure what else would be.

Perhaps. Though I wasn't aware you were so fond of Freyr.

I wasn't. I thought he was irresponsible and only cared about entertaining himself. But after seeing what he did for us the other day... I think maybe I might have been too quick to judge him.

[Wow Lyon, a little bit of shifting around the network would prove those sentiments false right away.]

I thought the gods here were all family.

The Lokis are twins, as were Freya and Freyr. Thor and Baldr are sons of Odin, Loki of Asgard and Sigyn are married. Freyr and Freya hail from Vanahaim as part of an agreement involving political hostages. [There's a few moments of silence before he says the following –]

Though Freyr saw them in a familial light regardless.

What a complicated family. No wonder things are always so chaotic around here.

What about Heimdall?

I wouldn't say it's complicated. [His family, Lyon. Let him show you it but not really.]

Heimdall, to my knowledge, is the only one not actually part of a family by marriage or blood. But he still swears utmost loyalty to Odin.

Do what you feel is best for you, and seek the information you desire. The gods may become more compliant with Travellers now that one of their own is gone, and such opportunities should be coveted.

I hope so. Some cooperation would be refreshing for a change.

So it would be, not just from the gods.

It's sad how it takes something like this before a community is really able to put aside their differences and work together.

How can you be so certain they have come together? Just as there would be those who would use Freyr's death as a rallying point for union, there would be those who see it as an affirmation of their ideas regarding the city.

I suppose we'll have to wait and see, then.
