[ Cloud's not looking at the video when it starts, instead focused on a nail that he strikes with a hammer. He glances at the video, confirming it's on, but he seems distracted or restless. ] Vincent. You're about the only one who'd stay quiet for long. If you're here, say something. [ Pound. Pound. Pound. .... ] Or...if any Houses have a deep sleeper. He'd be wearing a cloak. I'll wake him up. [ Hard to imagine cold Vincent taking the gods or their "laughter and tears" thing very seriously. There's no asking about the others this time--Cloud's sure that either he would have heard them by now, or they'll be messaging him soon enough over this. Instead: ] I've put this off long enough. Anyone know where I can get a sword? [ What he's been hammering isn't furniture or anything like it, as proven when he does an idle "victory" twirl with his arm--it's a nail bat. He rests it lightly on his shoulder and shrugs at the video. ] This is interesting once in a while, but it gets old.

However, as for acquiring a sword, there are different shops throughout the city that sell weaponry. I've yet to find a suitable blade, but it seems we're expected to work in order to earn anything other than food and board.

[ Granted, being able to hurt them might end up being important, so Cloud's chafing at the idea of them being completely invulnerable. Lightning's room is on the floor below Cloud's, and though given the set-up here, some hideous annoyances are to be expected, when the woman enters the hallway, already in a bad mood, and hears it continuing on and on with no apparent end-- well, she's just annoyed enough that she decides to actually hunt and find its source.

Up the stairs she goes, two at a time, and then stomps her way down the seventh floor hall, ironically loud in her irritation. Will he be able to hear her knocking when she eventually comes to a decision over which door it must be coming from? Or will he require: ]

[ He can already guess when he hears the angry stomping and pounding on his door that it's for him, about the noise, and actually it's really tempting to just keep on hammering to annoy them even though this is looking nearly done.
