[The feed opens up with a thud, the thud of someone's fist hitting the wall. And that would be what causes the bracelet activating at the same time.]

...you gotta be -- there's no way... [Some more, louder thuds as said someone goes into an unattractive temper tantrum.] I'll never-- I--

[Another thud and the bracelet deactivates without her having ever known it was on. But just a short while later, Yukari does intentionally make a video post. Because for some reason she feels it's chickening out on a text post. Her expression is cautious, neutral.]

...H-Hey. I know there's always a few of these messages, but... [y'all can suck it up] Minato-kun's gone... again, I guess. [She takes a breath, carefully concealing a catch in her throat.]

I... don't need to hear anyone feel sorry for me, okay? [Wait, why did she even say that? She regrets it immediately; nothing good can come of it. She either looks like a defensive idiot or alienates her friends, and either way looks totally self-obsessed, because obviously not everyone knows that they're -- Whatever. She's just rambling now... better get off this quickly.] I mean... Sorry, it's not that I wouldn't--ya know--appreciate that, but... [She waves a hand.] Just--Just don't want to hear that again. That's it.

[Ooookay. Still kind of a disaster. But that's as good as she can probably do right now, right?

She cuts the feed and then leaves Freya House to go wander the district and make her way gradually around, through Sigyn and back, just walking to cool off.]

Heh, yeah, I get it. As long as I'm not hurting them right now, and as long as I'm trying to keep myself from hurting them, they shouldn't worry? I don't think most worry too much, except for one bitch, about me. There's a couple others... but they're scared for their friends, and I get that. That... that really doesn't bother me like you might think.

Believe it or not, I kind of appreciate that there's a few people out there like that.

You say that, but I never ran into too many back home. Of course, that might have had something to do with the sorts of people I was hanging around with while I went into hiding. Hiding in the seedy underbelly of a town doesn't exactly bring the nicer elements around to play, does it?

[What the hell did people in this place actually do? No, seriously, she was having enough trouble figuring out what 'dating' was with a troll in the first place. Social mingling was just not something she grasped outside of the occasional drinks and chatting.

[yeah she's not a dance party girl either BUT there's a first time for everything...]

[She got to her feet and steadied herself on the table for a second, handing a rune to the waiter as she grinned over at Yukari.]

Got a feeling I'm going to make a fool out of myself with this idea.

Huh... I got that same feeling, Sam-chan. [She giggles right back.]

[She laughed at that and began trying to mimic some of the other people dancing on the floor. This took on a sort of half mixture of a slightly inebriated girl thinking she was doing well and general self-consciousness. The booze at least helped her be willing to try, though she seemed to constantly grab at her tail to keep it away from people, and more than a little too self conscious not to look a touch silly in the process.]

[Yukari on the other hand is a more inebriated girl, knowing she's doing well, even though she's not, and wanting Sam to do even better. She encourages her, giggling and then outright laughing as she abandons thought to more or less dance with the music.]

[She didn't laugh quite as easily, though there were a few chuckles that came out all the same. She had a kind of sad smile, others already giving them space while the two of them tried to not look too silly. It wasn't very successful, though at least Samantha looked like she was having some fun of it.]
