[The feed opens up with a thud, the thud of someone's fist hitting the wall. And that would be what causes the bracelet activating at the same time.]

...you gotta be -- there's no way... [Some more, louder thuds as said someone goes into an unattractive temper tantrum.] I'll never-- I--

[Another thud and the bracelet deactivates without her having ever known it was on. But just a short while later, Yukari does intentionally make a video post. Because for some reason she feels it's chickening out on a text post. Her expression is cautious, neutral.]

...H-Hey. I know there's always a few of these messages, but... [y'all can suck it up] Minato-kun's gone... again, I guess. [She takes a breath, carefully concealing a catch in her throat.]

I... don't need to hear anyone feel sorry for me, okay? [Wait, why did she even say that? She regrets it immediately; nothing good can come of it. She either looks like a defensive idiot or alienates her friends, and either way looks totally self-obsessed, because obviously not everyone knows that they're -- Whatever. She's just rambling now... better get off this quickly.] I mean... Sorry, it's not that I wouldn't--ya know--appreciate that, but... [She waves a hand.] Just--Just don't want to hear that again. That's it.

[Ooookay. Still kind of a disaster. But that's as good as she can probably do right now, right?

She cuts the feed and then leaves Freya House to go wander the district and make her way gradually around, through Sigyn and back, just walking to cool off.]

[Looks like Senji is out for a walk as well. He spots the girl, tilting his head when he sees her. They're... not that great of friends but, he's not about to ignore her.]

Yo. [he brings a hand out of his pocket and waves a little.]

[...Well, oddly, this is like, one of the few people she's pretty sure will not be shoveling any bullshit at her. Which is nice.

She's clearly stewing a bit, not smiling at him even a little - but she does give a similar wave back.]

[ well, from her tone of voice, he can tell minato must have been one of her closer friends. no, probably something more than that. ]

Sorry... [ he says it without thinking, before catching himself. ] Wait, no, I mean, I'm not sorry! [ ...doesn't that sound even worse? ] Or... I'm sorry but I'm not sorry.

[ ...okay he just sighs, shaking his head and giving up. ]

Um... is there anything I can do?

[Was Samantha that close to Yukari? It was debatable. She'd helped her a bit with trying to resist her powers. They'd talked a few times. Her other side had kind of obsessed over her... yeah, Yukari was probably reasonably close. Samantha still had a little trouble understanding why the girl bothered, much the same way she didn't understand Eve.

And so now she saw her pounding the walls in frustration. That, at least, she understood. She wanted Minato around. Samantha had finally realized who he had been. The quiet one who occasionally talked to her. Pleasant fellow, though he'd always felt ... intense.

[It's the (rather darkish) humor in seeing him pedal, backpedal, pedal and backpedal at the same time, and finally stop pedaling altogether that leavens this comment for her.

She laughs a little harshly.]

[She closes her eyes.] I'm not even -- that sad, I'm just... totally pissed off.

[and acutely aware that she's bitching to someone she talked to once.]

[...she rambles on, without caring to explain (if she realized) the parts he probably doesn't get.]

...Minato-kun is [with a faint emphasis on the verb] my boyfriend, that I was telling you about.

... Yeah, well... [She announced it to everyone else. Why not just say it now, too.]

Minato-kun-- My boyfriend-- He's gone from Asgard... And it's the second time that happened.

Keh- what kinda guy leaves twice? [this is his way of talking about this initially, don't worry he'll... bust out some advice here eventually.]

The best thing you can do now is keep on goin', don't feel angry or sad about this kinda shit just yet. He was here before, twice before, he'll come back. What you gotta do is just keep your head up, don't let this get ya down.

[ he'd kind of gotten that impression, but he didn't want to assume anyway. especially when she was already down as is... ]

[She actually will start by trying (consciously or not) to follow this advice: instead of getting upset, as is threatening to spill over constantly right now, she stares at her shoes and says levelly:]

I'm starting to think not even the Gods actually control who they manage to get in or who escapes...

[She sighs.]

Is that how it works? [The hard tone in her voice solidifies even further for a moment.]

It kind of sounds like a neat magic trick!

[Making a note to split up after drinks, Samantha made her way over to the bar and settled herself in a chair that was visible from the entrance. It was easy to lock up and get here from Pinch. It was the same district after all.

So, by the time that Yukari arrived, she was nursing a water, waiting on the other girl.]

Yeah, I noticed his room was empty. He was right next to mine.

...You a friend of his?

[Irrepressibly at first, she bursts out:]

It's not nothing, I... I don't ... [Deep breath, Yukari.]

But it is less than it was before...

[She pauses. Not disagreeing with his opinion on the gods, she isn't mulling on that. It's more the first part.]

I'm actually a little scared of that. Weird, right? But, I don't want to get over it, in one way... If the third time he goes away, I just -- get over it and start hoping... I mean, that's not the kind of thing you're supposed to get used to, right? I don't want it to hurt either, but...

[She gestures, frustrated, and then blushes a bit.]

S-Sorry, this must be way TMI... I didn't mean to shove my problems on you. And... it was pretty good advice, anyway, so-- thanks...

[Her gaze darkens at that. Some buffoonery she can take, some she can't, apparently.]

...Nothing at all, I'd say.
