Asgard, huh? Personally, I fell asleep in English when we had to do a section on mythology, but last I checked, gods don't really bring people to their special city, let alone to flourish in it. [ there's a pause here and erica honestly just looks really unimpressed, because really, she's supposed to believe this? she may be sitting around the baldr welcoming hall, but honestly this may just be one very vivid hallucination. in fact she'd kind of prefer that alternative. ] I can see why you'd want people like me here, but I just turned sixteen and I had plans at home that didn't really include this at all. In fact, they didn't include anything close to this.

 

[ and then there's another pause, and you can almost see how her face shifts briefly into someone who seems worried before she shrugs, fiddling with her bracelet. ]

 

I didn't really ask the maid- or whatever you want to call her- that gave us the bracelet and the letter and all those fun things, but trading in powers isn't an option, is it? [ because come on no this isn't fair, she doesn't even know how regeneration works in this place and if doesn't work like the bite she's screwed and she knows it. of course, no one really needs to know that here. if they know it right at the beginning, then they'll already be judging her for it and they'll worry that it'll happen or they'll wait until it happens so they can watch. ] Just for curiosity's sake, of course, it's not like I want to trade mine, because I didn't get that bad of a deal out of this, but maybe someone wants to be like they are at home instead of gifted with something new. 

[ okay maybe she wants to be like she is at home, but you know, details that she can know and everyone else can figure out on their own. just let her speak in hypotheticals and such for now asgard. it's just better for right now. ]

Well, look who it is. [ Isaac hadn't been expecting to see her, but it seems like he wasn't the only one the gods thought to pull here. No matter how it ended with the pack, they've been through a lot together, and he's still a friendly face.

Considering he just went through all these questions yesterday, he can definitely sympathize too.]

As far as I know, I don't think there's any way to get a refund on powers or a ticket back to Beacon Hills.

[ In the grand scheme of things, Isaac's face is something that brings a certain degree of relief. A part of her is still vaguely concerned that she went from being surrounded by a pack of werewolves to here, but if Isaac's here, maybe she won't need to freak out even more.

And maybe a part of her still remembers, hey, he was a part of her pack before she ran. It's enough to earn a small smile before gives him a look. ]

[ Isaac raises an eyebrow, curious and definitely interested. He's not sure how Derek would take the news, but her answer gets his hopes up. They're not werewolves, they don't need a pack here, but he's still got that ghost feeling that he does. ]

[ More Beacon Hills people. Wow, the gods must really be running out of worlds because seriously, how many does that make now? He's a little more indifferent to seeing Erica though because she's registered even less on his radar than Isaac did, although them showing up so close together definitely sets off his suspicion bells.

Also, she definitely looks different. He'd seen her around school at least, but that'd been the baggy clothes, unkempt hair version of her. This? Is almost hot. Not that he's going to ever admit that in any way shape or form. And the way she's talking now -- like there's been something strange that's drastically made her better. [ For all her desire to not think about back home before everything, Erica hadn't counted on running into Jackson who, at the moment, she thinks has his head so far up his ass that it's not even funny. Well, he had decided to mention the one thing she doesn't even remotely want to think about, so hey maybe that guess isn't too far off and he is an idiot who is that stupid. ]

Granted that he didn't really seem to be too aware of what was going on even when he started transforming more, but here, it's said with a hint of recognition. [ It's really only a matter of time now before everyone from Beacon Hills is in Asgard. At least it's another one of his betas as opposed to some useless brat -- or even worse, an Argent. Plus, Erica is useful, a little rough around the edges when it comes to all things werewolf-related still, but useful and more importantly a pack member who he can set to work on figuring a way out of here. ]

Regaining what you had before won't lead to anything nice here. [ He knows, has seen proof of it and it wasn't pretty. Not that seeing people die violently stops him from wanting his original powers back though.

[ There's a tiny difference between hearing that Derek is here from Isaac and seeing Derek actually there. It makes more real and she'd be lying if there's a huge part of her that's thankful to see him, because maybe she had left the pack but here he was talking to her like he wasn't mad at her and that's something. ]

Alternative isn't that nice either, you know. [ She can't even stop the next thing that comes out of her mouth because it's honestly confusing as to why he's not chewing her out. ] You're not mad at me.

[ Cue some of that rare confusion which occasionally manages to make itself appear on his face. It only lasts a shred of a second because it dawns on him rather quickly that this could be related to different time points more and more of them are picked from. It seems to be a growing theme as more people from Beacon Hills show up.
