Asgard, huh? Personally, I fell asleep in English when we had to do a section on mythology, but last I checked, gods don't really bring people to their special city, let alone to flourish in it. [ there's a pause here and erica honestly just looks really unimpressed, because really, she's supposed to believe this? she may be sitting around the baldr welcoming hall, but honestly this may just be one very vivid hallucination. in fact she'd kind of prefer that alternative. ] I can see why you'd want people like me here, but I just turned sixteen and I had plans at home that didn't really include this at all. In fact, they didn't include anything close to this.

[ and then there's another pause, and you can almost see how her face shifts briefly into someone who seems worried before she shrugs, fiddling with her bracelet. ]

I didn't really ask the maid- or whatever you want to call her- that gave us the bracelet and the letter and all those fun things, but trading in powers isn't an option, is it? [ because come on no this isn't fair, she doesn't even know how regeneration works in this place and if doesn't work like the bite she's screwed and she knows it. of course, no one really needs to know that here. if they know it right at the beginning, then they'll already be judging her for it and they'll worry that it'll happen or they'll wait until it happens so they can watch. ] Just for curiosity's sake, of course, it's not like I want to trade mine, because I didn't get that bad of a deal out of this, but maybe someone wants to be like they are at home instead of gifted with something new.

[ okay maybe she wants to be like she is at home, but you know, details that she can know and everyone else can figure out on their own. just let her speak in hypotheticals and such for now asgard. it's just better for right now. ]

Well, look who it is. [ Isaac hadn't been expecting to see her, but it seems like he wasn't the only one the gods thought to pull here. No matter how it ended with the pack, they've been through a lot together, and he's still a friendly face.

Considering he just went through all these questions yesterday, he can definitely sympathize too.]

As far as I know, I don't think there's any way to get a refund on powers or a ticket back to Beacon Hills.

And, uh... [ He gets why she left, was close to leaving himself, but... ] Derek's here too.

[ More Beacon Hills people. Wow, the gods must really be running out of worlds because seriously, how many does that make now? He's a little more indifferent to seeing Erica though because she's registered even less on his radar than Isaac did, although them showing up so close together definitely sets off his suspicion bells.

Also, she definitely looks different. He'd seen her around school at least, but that'd been the baggy clothes, unkempt hair version of her. This? Is almost hot. Not that he's going to ever admit that in any way shape or form. And the way she's talking now -- like there's been something strange that's drastically made her better. Doesn't that seem familiar.... ]

Weren't you like super diseased back at home? [ Oh yes, hi. This is a greeting, although instead of a hello, she gets Jackson speaking before he thinks. ]

[ In the grand scheme of things, Isaac's face is something that brings a certain degree of relief. A part of her is still vaguely concerned that she went from being surrounded by a pack of werewolves to here, but if Isaac's here, maybe she won't need to freak out even more.

And maybe a part of her still remembers, hey, he was a part of her pack before she ran. It's enough to earn a small smile before gives him a look. ]

You miss the part where I said it wasn't mine I was asking about? If that true, though, sucks to be the people with the useless powers, doesn't it?

[ There's the unsure look again for a brief moment before she speaks. ] There's worse company I can think of. I might even be happy to him. [ Spoilers: She definitely will be. ]

[ For all her desire to not think about back home before everything, Erica hadn't counted on running into Jackson who, at the moment, she thinks has his head so far up his ass that it's not even funny. Did he seriously just not notice how grow claws and canines and hung out with other werewolves. Was he that stupid?

Well, he had decided to mention the one thing she doesn't even remotely want to think about, so hey maybe that guess isn't too far off and he is an idiot who is that stupid. ]

Didn't you have a lot more scales back at home instead of fur? [ Oh right, hi, Jackson, is that a sore spot? Oops. ]

I don't know what you're talking about.

[ That immediate denial should give her some kind of clue that things are off. Granted that he didn't really seem to be too aware of what was going on even when he started transforming more, but here, it's said with a hint of recognition. He at least knows what she's referring to and denying it with every fiber of his being. It doesn't occur to him yet that she shouldn't know about that, but it's still a yet. ]

[ It's really only a matter of time now before everyone from Beacon Hills is in Asgard. At least it's another one of his betas as opposed to some useless brat -- or even worse, an Argent. Plus, Erica is useful, a little rough around the edges when it comes to all things werewolf-related still, but useful and more importantly a pack member who he can set to work on figuring a way out of here. ]

Regaining what you had before won't lead to anything nice here. [ He knows, has seen proof of it and it wasn't pretty. Not that seeing people die violently stops him from wanting his original powers back though.

Oh, and hello, Erica. ]

[This very pale woman gives a snort.]

The gods don't serve you, you serve them. There isn't an option to trade abilities. Only grow stronger in them.

[Oh, teenagers.]

I'm quite certain none of us particularly planned for this to happen.

[But as for the other part--]

No. Whatever power they give you remains.

[ There's a tiny difference between hearing that Derek is here from Isaac and seeing Derek actually there. It makes more real and she'd be lying if there's a huge part of her that's thankful to see him, because maybe she had left the pack but here he was talking to her like he wasn't mad at her and that's something. ]

Alternative isn't that nice either, you know. [ She can't even stop the next thing that comes out of her mouth because it's honestly confusing as to why he's not chewing her out. ] You're not mad at me.

[ Oh hey, Scott fell asleep during the mythology section too! ]

I'm pretty sure you're stuck with whatever power you get... so you better get used to being human again.

[ Looking on the bright side, at least Derek will be somewhat happier now he has two of his pack here. Scott not included obviously. ]

Tell that to people who pray for things, pretty sure they think gods serve them and not the other way around. [ Erica rolls her eyes. Really, it was a simple question, no need to get like that about it. ]

Someone might have, you know, maybe if they believed in these gods at home.

[ Her face twists into a slight grimace before she just settles on a slight frown. ]

So everyone keeps telling me. Like I said, it kind of sucks for those who wanted to be the way they were at home. [ A pause. ] They can get stronger, though. With- practice or testing their limits.

[ Look it was really boring, okay, no one can judge them! ]

Powers still make us a little better than human. [ Awkwardest pause known to man, because Scott, what are you doing here too. Is this seriously just Asgard Hills instead of Beacon Hills? ] Mine's close to one we had anyway, I got a little lucky.

Right, sorry. [ And he says it with a teasing smirk. ] I don't think anyone here gets a really useless power. [ Except, you know, him. The power isn't as much useless as it is just awkward to use. He's not fessing up to that just yet, though. ]

[ Isaac raises an eyebrow, curious and definitely interested. He's not sure how Derek would take the news, but her answer gets his hopes up. They're not werewolves, they don't need a pack here, but he's still got that ghost feeling that he does. ]

Well, maybe you should let him know that.

[ Because, honestly, Derek wouldn't be the only one that might be interested in having her back. ]

From what I've discovered, this is a previously unheard of circumstance. So welcome. [Or so he says in a tone that's not quite as welcoming as it is bitter. And oh, he knows exactly how much it sucks to not be able to be how you were at home, Ramirez is not even a quarter of what he used to be.]

Yes, as it is with any skill. [Though you've yet to strike him as a person who'd want to put in effort toward that.] Is power something that interests you?

[Oh there is a Stiles on the screen. And it takes him one second to go from 0 to 90 on a scale of indignity.]

[ Her eyes narrow at the denial, because it's one thing to deny that you turn into a murderous lizard that occasionally likes to just paralyze or trigger seizures in people, but to do it after everyone knows you're that is just kind of pathetic. And really weird. ]

Really? Because last I remember you were stuck being hissing instead of growling. It's actually kind of funny to watch.

[ ...Okay well maybe not funny, but let her pretend. ]

[ Cue some of that rare confusion which occasionally manages to make itself appear on his face. It only lasts a shred of a second because it dawns on him rather quickly that this could be related to different time points more and more of them are picked from. It seems to be a growing theme as more people from Beacon Hills show up.

Because he's totally the forgiving type when someone does what I did. [ The look she gives him is rather incredulous and honestly betrays how stupid she finds the idea even if at the same time, she'd love for it to be fine. ]

You miss me that much? [ Because let's just skate over the idea of Derek being pissed and focus on playfully teasing Isaac. Good plan. ]

[ Derek isn't the only one confused, and it shows in how Erica narrows her eyes for a second before relaxing. Between this and Jackson's denial of being the kanima she can't help but think this is maybe an issue with a timeline. Technically it makes zero sense, but then again doesn't everything else?

There's a lie on the tip of her tongue, but then he uses that tone that even though she's not a wolf any more, she has to admit it makes her less inclined to do so. ]

I ran. [ She keeps it deliberately vague, because if he knows, then he knows and maybe he really isn't angry at her, and if not, well, what he doesn't know won't kill him. ]

Kind of a common theme here, isn't it. [ She can't even blame the bitterness that she can hear, because when comparing how she is back at home and how she is here right now, the only thing that makes it better is the power she got. ]

It is. Pretty sure not in the way it interests most people, but yeah, I happen to be fascinated by it. Power can bring strength and all that. [ Effort is a relative term. Besides, what's she going to do, get beaten up so she can practice focusing on regenerating? Don't mind the little huff she gives at that idea. ]

[ She's definitely not wrong there -- Derek isn't the forgiving type at all. The way he shuts his mouth, glancing elsewhere when he shrugs says he can't say otherwise. He doesn't think Derek wouldn't be pissed, but he does hope that Derek would take her back anyway. It'd been important for him to have a pack, hadn't it? The corner of his mouth twitches at the new plan, though.]

Well, maybe a little. [ He teases right back, letting the subject change because, in the end, he doesn't get any say in what the alpha decides. ] Without you, it's just me and Derek, you know.

Only if you've just arrived. It stagnates surprisingly quickly.

[Though her next words do manage to pique his curiosity.]

I see. And in what way does it interest you?

[ This is turning out to be a lot less simple than Isaac's arrival. His biggest worry had been Scott's presence then, but now there's a mess to deal with which he doesn't even know about, except those two simple words spell out a scene in his head that means nothing good.

I ran. ]

You ran. [ You're not mad at me -- so that means - ] You ran from me. [ Yes, the situation back home is pretty bad, but abandoning pack?

Might want to start explaining why and soon, Erica. ]
