[When Ash turns on the feed, he seems to look a little... baffled. There's something clearly on his mind and he wants to get it out right away. It's kind of silly that he hasn't asked this before, but then again, he's Ash.]

Hey, Asgard.

I have a really important question.

[There's a pause as he tries to think of the question, a serious look on his face.]

Why is everyone mad at the 'gods'? Do you guys hate them for some reason...?

[ There's an amused quirk of his lips, just shy of a smile. ]

Not quite. Hatred is a rather subjective term. Upset, on the other hand, is far easier to define. Have they done nothing to lose favour with you?

[ Ash shakes his head. No, he's not upset at any of the gods for any reason. ]

I mean, I was kinda surprised at first, but I'm not mad at any of them... or upset.

Then you shall make for one of the rare few. They are not without their cruelties, and Asgard has brought many hardships to its people. I can't speak for hatred, but the gods are hardly viewed in a positive light for most.

It's not uncommon for captives to think ill of their captors. Doesn't necessarily make you wrong for thinking otherwise.
