Why is everyone mad at the 'gods'? Do you guys hate them for some reason...?

Ah... That. It's really quite simple. Often enough, people seem to forget that whoever organizes these attacks on the city aren't tactically inept, who would only send forces out to deal with the mortals even while knowing that there are gods actively protecting it.

See, while it's evident to a rare few of us that the gods were likely attacked, or at least distracted on their end as well, most do not seem to realize that the gods aren't exactly helping us because they do not want to. And thus, they lament that fact.

I think taking us from our homes without our consent and being irresponsible guardians who allow harm to befall us is reason enough to hate them.

If being forced into a war against your will isn't enough, I'll answer it for you. They're quite content in our own suffering, they never offer aid when civilians or creatures become belligerent and kill us. Not to mention the dangerous situations we've been through.

If that doesn't suffice hatred, then you're naive. I find enough anger being forced into a war I will not have a part of enough.
