[Unlike in previous video posts, there are no bandages on Maya's right shoulder, no sling, and her nodachi isn't in the bag she usually keeps it in. No, the beautiful sword with the swirling dragon about the sheath is resting on her shoulder as she stands before the Freya Welcome House.]

I know it's been a couple weeks since I started at the Citadel, but allow me to introduce myself. I'm Natsume Maya, and I'm one of the Citadel's instructors. I teach the sword and meditation techniques. Unlike the other sword instructors, my specialty is the Japanese style of sword. For those of you from non-Earth worlds, if the sword's blade is single-edged and has a curve to it, I can teach it. I offer lessons three times a week for sword, twice a week for meditation. If you're interested, come to the Citadel and sign up.

Now, the Citadel has a code for chivalrous behavior always within it and while taking classes there. If chivalry isn't your thing and you still want to learn, contact me privately. I do give lessons of a less than chivalrous nature on my own time, but understand that they are not easy.

On another note, my fellow Freya members, I would like to start a little house camaraderie here in the form of a martial arts club. If you are a member of Freya and know martial arts, come down to the common room. [She gives a cocky smirk.] The best fighters don't always end up in Thor.

What's so special about Thor?

Thor, in Norse mythology, is the God of Thunder and supposedly the strongest of the gods and the ultimate warrior. His travelers here are also supposedly strong, powerful warriors. I don't like that the house is automatically assumed to be the best in battle.

Yea! We'll show 'em! [Cerebella takes her little sleepy hat off and looks at it, giving it a pat.]

If he could wake up I bet I could beat anybody in Thor.

He's not, so we need to do it with our own strength.

I'm pretty capable, you know.

[She strikes a pose where she stands, ending in a sweeping bow, hat still in hand.]

Alright, alright... Now go find us some recruits.

Oh, and I'm probably moving out of the Welcome House.

[Cerebella hops down from her little stage, and gives Maya a curious look.]

Oh? Where are you moving to?

It's not confirmed yet, but I will probably be moving in with Tohno Shiki and Inui Arihiko. I'll still be in the district, though.

[Cerebella is...apparently practicing balancing on a line of uneven stones as she speaks.]

They're guys. It's to be expected. I used to have a brother, so I'm well aware of what to expect.

Ohhh.

I've never lived with them so I don't know. I've just been told.

I wonder if they're the kinds of guys that think they'll get lucky living with a pretty girl?

[It's hard to tell if Cerebella's focusing on what she's doing so much that she's just...blurting out the first thing she thinks.

Then again, it's Cerebella...this is probably normal.]

Regardless, neither of them has a chance.

[Cerebella laughs, keeping her balance quite perfectly before dismounting.]

I almost feel sorry for 'em.

Shiki already knows neither of them are my type. Inui on the other hand... he probably thinks that.

I think he thinks he's a lot of things. And whereas I do usually go for delinquents, I don't go for punks.

Oh, is he a punk? He seemed nice enough when he talked to me.

Though I think he thinks he's cooler than his friend.

Why am I not surprised? Anyways... neither of them have a chance, so it's pointless to speculate. You can date Inui. It'd make him happy.
