There's a figure behind her as well, hair slightly and unevenly shorn but still recognisable as Karuika Mirel. He's not exactly hiding, but it's clear that she's in charge of this post.]

Hello, everyone. Karu had an idea for another event we could do ourselves, just as travelers, and I wanted to run it past everybody and see what you thought.

If we find a good spot, we could light a controlled bonfire - sort of to represent the gift that light was to us recently - and people could write down any of their worries and concerns and throw them into the fire. I'm sure we've all got things still weighing on our mind, and it would be a way to purge yourself of them and move on.

[She glances behind her, murmuring under her breath.] Was that alright?

Perfect, Nakama. [His voice is warm and encouraging. He adjusts the red headband covering his usually obvious ears and turns to address the network himself:] Is this something transients -- ah, travelers -- would attend? I plan to string lights around the city. With any luck, they will become colored lights by the end of the night.

Think of it as rebirth.

Good. We can start after Rapunzel and I have moved into our new place - there'll be a lot more room to work. [Her current room in Freya is getting kind of really cramped, especially with Dog and the two crabs.]

Oh, you're moving in with Rapunzel? I bet that'll be nice, I really like her. It's... different living with people in a house, but there are good things about it.

Mhmm. I was living on my own back home, so this will be interesting. [She was doing that when she wasn't living with her mother, anyway.]

You'll be cleaning out the shower drain a lot, I'd guess. [A small, shy smile - she doesn't joke often, and they're not that funny, but she tries.]

[Euri chuckles and shrugs.]

I think we'll manage. It'll be fun.

Yeah. Living with a friend is probably really fun... just like a long sleepover.

[It's different with her, because Karu and Shou are more like her older brothers, so she has to fend off concern and hamhanded attempts at protection. She adores them, but it gets awkward.]

- Which house are you in?

Oh - um, I'm from Heimdall, but I'm living in Sigyn right now. Why?

Just curious! So you moved out? What's that district like?

Yeah... the God Houses were nice, but they just didn't feel like home. More like a hotel or dormitory. I wanted somewhere to feel like home again.

[She thinks about that for a moment.] Sigyn's really beautiful. The houses aren't fancy or anything, but they're comfortable. And it's close to the hospital, which I like, since I volunteer there.

... What would be considered 'fancy' for these kinds of buildings? [Because everything here is nicer than she's ever seen in human towns.]

Well, I think the highest-end housing is in Freyr, if you ever want to go take a look. I wanted to live there, but they're small apartments, and there was no way we could afford it.

Oh - I moved in with my friends Shou and Karu. The - one you argued with.

... Him? Really?

He's a really good guy, honestly. Both of them are. They're both just... well, Shou is a bit rough around the edges, and Karu isn't totally comfortable with people, I don't think. They both want to take care of me, but I want to take care of them just as much. I've learned so much here, I think I can help them out.

[Euri raises her eyebrows. That Karuika guy seemed to be at least her age, and Nakama is definitely a kid.]

Hey, how old are they?

They're both in their twenties, but it's nothing like that. They're just like big brothers to me.

[She can't blurt out that they're gay, because Shou keeps that secret close to his chest, and she knows how those secrets are. But she's perfectly placid as she says this, showing no signs of feeling threatened at all.]

[Oh, it isn't their relationship she would object to.]

... A kid shouldn't be taking care of two adults.

I'm not really a normal kid. [Glancing away and leaving it at that.]

That doesn't matter. You shouldn't take on that kind of responsibility if you don't have to.

It's not like I'm 'taking care of' them anyway. They can cook and clean and do all that for themselves. It's just... emotional support. And it goes both ways.

Besides, I don't have to. It was my choice.

.... [It still sounds like too much for a kid, especially Nakama when she's been through so much here and back in her world. Emotional stress can be disastrous.]

Just make sure you're not trying to take on too much. Your own wellbeing should come first.

[Her defensiveness when she realizes that this is concern, not judgment, and a small smile appears on her face.]

I get that a lot. From almost everyone I know, actually. I've got people everywhere watching me, making sure I don't let myself collapse. You don't have to worry about me, but thank you.
