[Alice lets out a deep sigh, accompanied by the whining of a dog. She sounds more composed than she has days before. They both slept, ate, and are generally well-rested.]

I suppose I should ask, before I run into this sort of problem again. And I don't think Julius would appreciate me bathing him in a tub like an infant.

What is a rational way to bathe a dog? Unfortunately, Julius has gotten very dirty from the nights before. Along with a two ruined dresses of mine. I doubt that blood will stain a dog, for that matter...

The last time I bathed him, he took me in with him. He's a very friendly golden retriever and is very well mannered up until it's bath time. He enjoys it a little too much.


[Silence, and then.]

Where are my matters. [Dryly, a bit forced.] Thank you, Sora, for taking care of him.
