[ For those of you who know Kula, she seems a little more serious today than she normally is. She doesn't have a huge smile plastered to her face; instead she's got a lolipop in one hand, her look a mix between haxy and stoic. Kula'll idly lick and munch at the lolipop as she speaks. ]

You guys seem to get really upset when someone else has control of you. It's like you're not used to it or something? Anyway, it's really weird. Didn't you guys have governments or something back where you're from that you had to answer to? Maybe a boss at a job or a teacher at school or something? How are the gods any different than that? No matter where you are, you're going to have someone telling you what to do.

[ She shrugs, obviously not seeing how her statement could bother anyone here in Asgard. She tends to be selfish and singleminded, unable to understand other people, and today isn't an exception despite her serious demeanor. ]

I think you all need to relax and take a deep breath. It's not that bad here, and all the gods really want out of us is to make friends! And if you say that's bad, then you just must be a bad person, because making friends is the best thing ever.

[ As she says that last line, her cheery self seems to kick back in, but only for a second. She's back to linefacing before she turns off the feed. ]

I don't know much about gods, but I know plenty of people in control that would put other people in life or death situations. Plus, this time I have a choice, and I don't have to hurt people if I don't want to, so it's way better.

Making friends makes things happier, which helps bring color, so it's not like I'm wrong or anything.

I like to make friends too. My name is Hisao Nakai - it's nice to meet you.

I have teachers and a government and everything in my own world, and while they have some say in what I do, they don't control me. Not like things can control people here. One example is my old Science teacher, Professor Moutou. I didn't always feel like going to his class - he would let certain students stay away for their own reasons. But I went every day anyway because I wanted to learn. He was able to guide me into coming by keeping me interested in the subject, offering insight and enthusiasm and getting me to share it. He was a little odd at times, but he helped foster my ambition and I'm pretty sure I want to be a Science teacher some day because of that experience.

...sorry, that explanation got a little long. I guess the point is, I'd rather be shown the way and allowed to take it if I want to, as opposed to being forced to do anything. I think most people agree.

I'm glad good things happened to you, and I think it's preferable if we can choose to do what we want, but if I have to be forced to do something, I'm glad it's stuff like making friends. At least here I don't have to hurt anyone if I don't want to, and I'm glad for that.

[... if this had been Hope's first encounter with Kula, he definitely would have reacted differently. he probably would have been a lot angrier, like most of the other repliers... but Kula had considered him a friend not long after they met. things like that definitely mean something to him. so instead, he shows up on camera with a sort of... impassive expression; it doesn't show anything too strong either way, despite what he's feeling inside.]

I don't have anything against making friends... that's actually one thing I like about this place, I'll agree on that. But that's not all the gods are doing. They brought us here to fight for them—people have died here because of this war. It doesn't matter if they get revived or not; that doesn't change the fact that they lost their lives.

Is it really bad if people die if they can come back? I thought the bad thing about dying was that they were gone forever. Is that not true?
