Just what in the hell d'you mean, I've been brought here t'bring color! Don't give a damn about yer decoratin', I want you to tell me where you put my daughter!
[ MY GOD is she furious. Absolutely furious. 100% ragingly wanting to kill everyone right now furious. ]
This sure as hell ain't Heaven, though, is it? Asgard. [ She scoffs, shakes her head. Mostly she's annoyed. ] If these people actually knew what I know about Norse mythology and their heathen blood-drinkin' gods...
[ Well then. Back to the point. ]
Jo? Joanna Beth Harvelle. You answer me right this second! I know you're around here somewhere, girl. Ain't a way possible you're not.

And since when're you the one callin' the shots? [ There's a bit of humor in her tone, but she really won't move. It's killing her not to; she wants to run to her girl, wrap her up and hold her just like she was small again. But she's not. She's a big girl, and she's on her way. Ellen can wait. But you best believe the moment that she gets Jo in her sights, she's going to run up and hug her like she's never hugged her before. ]

Since I actually know what's going on.
[Ellen gets a ghost of a smirk before the feed cuts, because it's true. Compared to her mom, Jo knows a hell of a lot more about this 'Asgard' and how it differs from their 'gods' back home. All from reading, sure, but it's something.
It's not until she sees her - her mom, right there - that Jo really lets herself go. She runs up to her, throws her arms around Ellen's neck, and hugs her back with just as much enthusiasm because it's true. It's her mom and she's here and she's alive. Sure, Jo has been waiting since the day she got here for this to happen, but the longer she waited...
Doesn't matter. Not anymore. And Jo is most definitely not tearing up with her face in Ellen's neck because that would be silly. She's stronger than that. She is. But she just...needs this moment. And maybe a couple more. Just so it can sink in.]

S'alright. I'm right here.

But then she comes back to her senses, and sits back from the hug - maybe even wipes her face a little - before smiling. You're here.]
Hey Mom.

You got the run-down from the maids, right? About the city, bringing color back, all that?

They're trying to get home. Figure out what they can about the Gods and making due until something big happens.

[oh ouch. Hello there feelings Jo's been trying to ignore about Asgard. Thanks for that, mom.]
The gun didn't work, though. They didn't have any other options.

[THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT.]
Here, I can take you back to the house.

You got a house?

[Jo says that a little quick. Clipped. Trying just a little too hard to sound nonchalant about it all.]
Sam, Dean, Bobby and Cas did. They took me in when I got here. [Without much of a choice on her part. Sam kind of decided it all for her. Not that she's complaining.]

We can get a place together now, you and me. Now that I'm here. Just like the Roadhouse.

Once we get jobs, maybe. For now they have an extra room. [She does brighten a bit, just glad that she's here.] They'll want to see you anyway.

Her mom, on the other hand...she just got here. She's still working with Carthage, with what happened to them. Jo still remembers the look in Ellen's eyes when she said she was staying with her, going to die with her baby girl.
It would take time.]
Okay. [It's fine. They'll have time to deal with that later.] We don't have to.

- Any other place we can bunk together? Or is there a chance we'd sneak in over there without anybody figurin' us out?

[The sneaking idea Jo takes a moment to consider. Everyone at the house was fairly private - coming from their world, a closed door means a closed door. Especially since none of them were really family. If she could time it right, make sure Daphne wasn't hanging around too much...]
A chance, yeah. I'd need to double check, but no one really hangs out around the house. Especially not now.
