001 shot. || video.

Just what in the hell d'you mean, I've been brought here t'bring color! Don't give a damn about yer decoratin', I want you to tell me where you put my daughter!

[ MY GOD is she furious. Absolutely furious. 100% ragingly wanting to kill everyone right now furious. ]

This sure as hell ain't Heaven, though, is it? Asgard. [ She scoffs, shakes her head. Mostly she's annoyed. ] If these people actually knew what I know about Norse mythology and their heathen blood-drinkin' gods...

[ Well then. Back to the point. ]

Jo? Joanna Beth Harvelle. You answer me right this second! I know you're around here somewhere, girl. Ain't a way possible you're not.

[She just keeps going, shrugging at bit at her mom's suggestion.]

Once we get jobs, maybe. For now they have an extra room. [She does brighten a bit, just glad that she's here.] They'll want to see you anyway.
swedge: (question ⇏ can i help you sir?)

Mom- [But Jo stopped herself from continuing. It might be this easy for her - she's forgiven them, all of them, and living with them for the past few weeks had put her in a sense of familiarity with them all. It was starting to feel like a home. Dysfunctional and screwed up, but that's nothing new.

Her mom, on the other hand...she just got here. She's still working with Carthage, with what happened to them. Jo still remembers the look in Ellen's eyes when she said she was staying with her, going to die with her baby girl.

It would take time.]

Okay. [It's fine. They'll have time to deal with that later.] We don't have to.
swedge: (question ⇏ yes?)

There's always your room, here. [Jo motions to the Welcome Hall around them. Upon remembering that this entire interaction has happened out here, out in the open, she starts to feel a little suspicious. Moving somewhere more private was definitely first priority.] You'll have it until you move out somewhere else.

[The sneaking idea Jo takes a moment to consider. Everyone at the house was fairly private - coming from their world, a closed door means a closed door. Especially since none of them were really family. If she could time it right, make sure Daphne wasn't hanging around too much...]

A chance, yeah. I'd need to double check, but no one really hangs out around the house. Especially not now.
