[ Buffy looks, to put it quite plainly, exasperated. She woke up this morning to a very, very unpleasant surprise. She's spent the majority of the day trying to rectify it, to no avail. And she doesn't want to speak. She absolutely, completely, utterly refuses to speak. If she starts to talk...

Well. Unpleasant surprise. So she sends out a text, instead of talking like she usually would. ]

... Did anybody else wake up and burst into song today? I mean really, burst into song. Singing *every* single thought?

[ An even more hopeless look takes over her features, and she sends out another. ]

*Please* tell me I'm not all - the-only-singer-y in this.

[ And then something changes. Her distress skyrockets and the fact that she's holding her lips tightly together and trying not to speak or, god, even cough, seems not to matter. Buffy starts to... Well. Sing. ]

I think it's my first curse,
But I just can't be sure.
The Gods have a horrible sense of HUUUUUUUUUUUU-mor...

I don't get why it's me,
I did nothing, you see -
Well at least, noooo-oooot laaaaaaaately...

[ It's like she's a woman possessed, because she seems to have no control over the notes or the words coming out of her. They just keep happening. And, at this point, she's making a mad scramble to turn her bracelet off. She's mortified, okay? ]

There was a bout of spontaneous singing across the city none too long ago, though I think your manner of affliction may me somewhat different. It's far more quaint.

Only sometimes, for a few sentences at a time -- and then it just kind of -- [ CRAAAAAAAAAP impending song -- ]

It just flows out of me and I,
