[Samantha opted, when setting up the feed, to go with voice only. She still looked like hell, and she didn't need anyone seeing or asking stupid questions. It wasn't their business. But, after speaking to Conan, she'd resolved that it was time to stop trying to hide from this place any further. When she spoke, her voice had a tired quality to it, but was still strong.]

So, Asgard.

I wanted to discuss something with those of you who will still speak with me right now. These powers that we have. Most of the people I see seem to think of them as a good thing, a blessing of sorts, or at least they partially make up for the tricks you had in your homeworlds. Right.

Here's the thing I wanted to talk about. Most I've spoken to seem to think of these powers as something that's being used to help other people around here, or to protect people that can't protect themselves. How do you people handle the fact that any of them can be abused, misused or mishandled? What do people around here do to prepare themselves to be protected if those powers get used for the wrong reasons? I've been thinking a lot lately about how people could protect themselves from some of these powers, and it worries me.

Not all of us are nice people, you know.

[Samantha didn't think it was hilarious at all, but she was more than a little too hung up about the seriousness of her 'condition' at times to find that her half-naked, flirting with Kaz about threatening to drawn him in a waterspout was probably one of the only really funny moments of that night.

I'm always ok. Another thing people don't really believe, but this isn't exactly my first rodeo. I just can't do what I usually do, so I'm coping. I'll figure something out. I've always done so before.

There's nothing wrong about checking. Some people are just total wrecks no matter how many times. [ She has seen a lot of it. ]

Body Control. A filthy power, honestly, and I'd rather not have it, but it is what they put in my hands. If I can use it to help others defend themselves, so be it. That will have to be penance.

Aaah, body control isn't too bad, but it can be pretty convenient in making an escape at least. [ She scratches her cheek. All the other uses are deadly. ]

I have shadow control! And it's actually pretty fun.

I've got ethical problems with turning a person into a living puppet, personally, so no I don't really like it. I'm only willing to do this because it could help others resist. The idea that my other half would use it willy nilly disgusts me.

Don't worry, anyone would think it's a little creepy if they delve into it a bit more. [ Like Pokemon entries in the Pokedex! ]

I'm just sayin' it'll be useful in the future, but that's pretty convenient for me!

A the very least. I wouldn't doubt its effectiveness, but I just have issues with its use in the first place. Eh. Whatever. At the very least, I'd hope that getting their will stronger would help some folks.

At least body control can be easily dealt with--for me, that is. [ Knock everyone out with shadow control. ]

I'm pretty sure most people here would put up a struggle. Haven't you seen their response to the gods here?

I'm going to worry one way or another until the world promises otherwise, but you're right about them fighting back as far as I can tell, at least in word.

If you're looking to change your look so badly, you can dye your hair, y'know! I've actually been debating on a color for myself just for kicks.
