[He'd practiced with this thing a few times before actually recording with it. From what he could tell, he'd gotten the hang of it. The technology behind it just wasn't something he understood, but it was really impressive. Sort of what he'd imagined technology should be like in this day and age-- or well, his own day and age. The video starts, and he looks a bit serious.]
My name is Kyohei Kadota. I've read Norse myths, but I didn't think they really existed.
[And now looks like he's barely containing a grin. It wasn't every day that something he'd read in a book turned out to be real to this degree. It actually made him pretty excited.]
The Library [left him speechless] is pretty great. I think I'll be there a lot today, so I'd like to talk to anybody. Anything anybody can tell me about this place is great. How exactly do we bring color and life back here?
[This was great. It felt like a real quest.]
Oh, one more thing. If you know of a good job, I'm looking for one.
[Action for Odin house]
[While he knew there was someone in the room connected to his, he hadn't met them yet, only heard them. Today, rather than spend all his time exploring the city, Kadota has decided to hang around his room and wait for them to see who it was. He had his suspicions from the clothing, hair things, paints, and items left in the bathroom - it had to be a girl - but he really should find out, at least, a name.
For now he'll be playing with his frost power on the bathroom mirror. It was cool. Not just cool, amazing. It was one of the best things he'd ever experienced; it was really hard to believe he wasn't dreaming. The grin on his face is just impossible to smother.]

I worked in construction. I'm open to any.

[More males would be awesome, too, as much as he loves his female employees... Being the only male one still most of the time is sometimes a bit awkward.]
Odd j'bs, too. [Though he does most of those himself.]

[He's really never met any teenaged business owners before, it's a logical question.]
Ever need anything built or fixed?

Oh, aye. Can't say I ever had this sort of myth invade my ears before, so can't say I know much of it that your lot seems to.

Who is this?
[He won't say too much until he knows who he's talking to.]

[And hey, even if you're not able to locate his details that form of address should narrow it down significantly.

And she is currently leaning against the door leading to her room with an amused smile, watching Kadota test out his powers on the mirror.]
I see the gods have decided your personal inclinations were of a colder variety.

[It will take him a little bit, but he's very well read, so he'll get it.]
Oh, right. Admittedly, I've never seen anything like it before.
I'm Kadota.
[He'll hold his hand out to offer a shake; it might still be a little cold.]

Instead of taking his hand immediately, she instead flicks her wrist so that a small flame appears in her hand, before quickly closing her hand into a fist to extinguish it. When she takes his hand, it's considerably warmer than his own, though not enough to be uncomfortable or painful.]
Rose Lalonde, though Rose will do me fine. It seems we complement each other, Mr. Kadota.
Apologies for the state of our restroom; my previous suitemate was returned to his home, and I took advantage of the sudden free space.

Can I ask who I'm speaking to?

Yes. You can.
