Helping someone out, a fun battle, training, stuff like that.

what constitutes "fun" for a battle?

You know, knocking another person's Pokemon out.

They hit each other. And they aren't all rats. There are electric mice, water mice, sleeping cats, plant types, flying ones... Dragons too.

so is this whole mass of systemic violence what you do for fun back home or is it something else?

Violence? No, it's not like that. They're a lot stronger than we are, so we train them and keep them happy! We coexist together like that!

you coexist by training them them to fight each other? don't get me wrong, i can see the appeal it just seems a little more like violence than not

I'm not sure how to explain it... it's just how it works with us. They enjoy battling.

i'll take your word for it so are there enough of you around to have 'battles' here?
