To those who knew him, it seems our distinguished Mr. Dave Strider has returned to his knightly duties.
Given the nature of this place, I cannot promise he will remember you all fondly, but I'm sure if he were present there would be well wishes and heartfelt sentiments for all.
[Rose isn't good at goodbyes; she never was. And all the logical reasoning in the world doesn't get rid of the crushing weight of disappointment. It's easier to hide behind a wall of orchid text and pretend she didn't care. Easier to just be grateful that the whole of the city can't see the way she looks out the window and heaves a low, disappointed sigh, can't notice the dark, tired look in her eyes.]
In other news, I humbly request Asgard's participation in a poll of sorts. You are free to answer anonymously, or filter your reply directly to me, if you are uncomfortable giving your name.
There is of course a medical clinic in our fair city, but naturally, not all wounds are strictly physical. Who among us feels it would be beneficial for there to be a business catering to the softer end of the scientific spectrum?
Specifically psychoanalysis.
Furthermore, I must request knowledge on if anyone here is familiar with such practices and is able to efficiently provide therapeutic comfort to a person should they come seeking help.
I thank you for your cooperation.

as a troll she's never had a brother, or even "family" of the same race. she'd be lying if she said she knew how Rose felt, but even through her text it's obvious that it must hurt at least a little. ]
Are You Going To Be All Right
[ she'll check up on her, at the very least. ]

I'm fine, Kanaya.

Dave was nothing to her. She didn't even know him. The other, however, was funny.]
Ooooh, does this mean I get to lie on a couch in front of a gray haired old man and tell him all about my daddy issues and cigars in my dreams? Count me in as completely on board with this idea!
[Pity her counselor. She was looking forward to breaking their mind.]
Video ; /THREADJACKS ;__;
[ this? this isn't something she likes. she knows that Rose can take care of herself, but she won't sit by and watch her be belittled with what's just happened. ]
Video - Oh, she earns it. She's not even good at trolling
[And here she hadn't really planned to go much further with her little tease. But the pale little troll had gone and piped up.]

I can't promise you an elderly therapist unless one volunteers, but should that not be the case, I would be more than willing to expound upon your parental obstacles in life and the phallic imagery of your dreams.

Oooh, and here your little friend was worried about you. You're more than capable of handling yourself, aren't you? Either way, my vote stays. Far too many hangups among our neighbors, I say, not to get a good bit of mileage out of it.
I might even take you up on that someday.

Not that I would advise you to thrust yourself into the affairs of an emotionally tormented individual, but it's a fair start.

[Audio] | Private because reasons
I would really appreciate if there was a service for those of us who are in high need of assistance...
[ A small pause, to check if she filtered the feed right. ] ... I had a therapist back home. The lack of a helpful figure like that for two months took almost a toll on me on certain days, so... uhm, I might request those services.
[Audio] | Private
In my opinion, if even one person expresses the idea that such a service would be beneficial to them, then that is more than enough to pursue the business.
[She paused. Professional words of comfort came easier to her than words of friendship. Therapy was cool and clinical. That was easy. Words from the heart were not.]
...I don't know precisely when this may come to fruition, but until then, I am available. While I don't have the qualifications of your previous therapist, I will do what I can.
There's more than enough material in the library to continue my education, after all.

SO I'VE BEEN KNOWN TO GIVE PEOPLE RELATIONSHIP ADVICE.
AT LEAST BACK HOME.
I DON'T KNOW IF THAT WOULD BE OF ANY USE TO YOU, BUT WHATEVER, IT'S RELEVANT TO YOUR QUESTION, RIGHT?
PEOPLE NEED SOMEWHERE TO GO OR THEY'RE GONNA GO FUCKING CRAZY.
NOT SAYING I'D BE WILLING TO RUN A FUCKING ROMANCE DAYCARE OR ANYTHING, BUT
FUCK
I DON'T KNOW.
WHATEVER.

This may be the first time since we've met that I've not had to contend with his misled definition of "irony".
I suppose I'll just have to regard this as an extended vacation.

Given your unfamiliarity, I imagine you're not making an offer to be a mentor. Might I interest you in a complimentary service?
