[Luckily for....most of Asgard, Ramirez expended most of his initial panic harassing a maid impervious to damage, so when he actually sits down and responds to the network he is fairly calm. He's trying hard to keep that impending sense of panic and claustrophobia under control. Because Lord Galcian wouldn't panic in a situation as meager as this. Panic was weakness and Ramirez would rather die than return to Lord Galcian with that kind of disgrace on his shoulders.
It's not often he finds himself so helpless and out of his element. The last time something of this magnitude had happened to him was...about seven years ago, when he first saw Arcadia with his own eyes.
He'd rather not think about those times. His own naivete made him sick. Instead, he focuses on addressing the community at large in his usual no-nonsense tone...though there seems to be a rather hoarse, stifled quality to it this time.]
I've no interest in assisting this world, but it appears as though my options are limited for now.
Explain this city. And if--
[Whatever else he was planning to say is cut off by a series of wet, miserable coughs that last up until the feed shuts off. Guess who didn't take kindly to his House snowman asking for a smile.]

[ Merrill gives a slightly smug - but friendly - grin. ]

What.
[Somehow, this head cold is simultaneously making him more irritable and taking his claws out]

[ she's not really picking up on the hostility - she just figures it's the cold irritating him. ]

[It certainly isn't helping.]

Is that all you have to say?

But interesting. Apparently, he's only part of a first batch of guinea pigs. That in itself is more information than he retrieved earlier. He'll keep his irritation down for now.]
Then tell me the date of the earliest arrival.

I'm not entirely sure what all of these abilities are. I haven't used mine yet either, but some of the others have. If you saw a woman when you woke up too, she might have told you something about them as well?

[Not much else is given on his end. Ramirez doesn't particularly want to give out any information that could put him at a disadvantage to a bunch of strangers.]

I'm fine. [Look at that grin, you are totally trying to get his goat. HE'S NOT FALLING FOR IT.]
Re: [video]
Of course you're fine! Your lungs simply wanted to say hello! Perfectly normal, ha ha ha!

Ah. Are you alright?
voice
Yes.

Ah, this can be very stressful. Perhaps you might feel better after some rest at your given room?

The lot of you are showing an uncharacteristic amount of concern for someone you don't even know.
[He's been around self-absorbed upper-class citizens for too long, doubling up by working for a man who hates weakness of any kind. He unfortunately doesn't take kindly to sympathy or genuine concern. :c]
