Hey, so I'm cleaning up these rooms, trying to make 'em into one big one for myself.  Anyone wanna help me tear down this wall?  Uh, someone who can make keys would be pretty good too.  Have to pick the lock every time I want to get in.  It's not like anybody's using them, so it's fine if I do, right?

Maybe I should be advertising my sweet bachelor pad for the lonely women of Asgard, heheh. [He grins. It's only half-joking...] Haven't had a dry spell since I was about fifteen, geez...

Anyway, hey, Ange, you get bored of staying with those freaks in your house, come hang out with your old man!  Nobody ever visits me, it's not like I'm in a home.

It's a lot nicer than my room, that's for sure. [ But Ange is easily satisfied (or rather, just doesn't care) so it's not a problem to her, she's fine with her own room.. ]

I can't say anyone else in this place thought of something like this before though..

I'm pretty sure it's just that most people are too scared of the gods to do this. [ although in rudolf's case it's probably more just that he doesn't realise rather than that he's not scared, huh.. ]

You mean you haven't heard about the kind of stuff they've done, dad? The very least was changing people into pigs and pretty much the worst was blowing up people's heads. [ of course it's Ange though, so her tone is level and even fairly deadpan even as she says the last part.. ]

That's no big deal, could be way worse. They don't stay like that for long, right? So what's there to worry about.

.. It's just that this place is unpredictable, right? The chance that people might die is actually pretty bad, so.. you shouldn't talk about it so casually, dad, I wouldn't know what to do if something happened to you. No matter whether you'll come back or not.

The same counts for me. If it's possible, then I'd like to stay here forever with you.. [ not that she has any choice, she's dead back home, but even if she was alive she'd rather stay with her father and older brother than being alone back home. ]

.. Not really. [ being all alone without friends or family and her life being in danger.. yeah, can't get much worse than that. ]

Although it'd be pretty hard to beat your company, dad.

That's a completely different case though. You can't make me pick between you, mom or Battler onii-chan, I'd be glad to be with any of you, no matter who.
