2nd Battle | VIDEO

[ he may as well use this damn network for research. ]

If you were to take loyalties to a king, what kind of king would you want them to be? Would you think better if they were harsh or if they were wise? What sort of person would you lend your allegiances too?

[ It's a general topic. he's curious to hear the opinions of people around him. he seems less rigid than when he first arrived. the break from all the battles has done well on him. he's not uneasy and robb speaks with a warm confidence. ]

He is not my king yet, but he has proven himself a man of great courage and honor. The very fact that he should even consider knighting the likes of me speaks volumes of him, since - [and here it comes] the First Code of Camelot states that only men of noble blood may serve, and not a drop of nobility courses through my veins.

[This is where he chooses his words a little more carefully because although on a personal note Uther is hardly his favorite person, he is the king and Arthur's father.]

They are chosen out of the families who have sworn their allegiance to the king.

[He shakes his head, a little sadly. His visit to Camelot was not what he expected it to be and he realizes now how naive he was but some parts haven't lost their sting following that realization.]

It could not, before Arthur.

[It's not the most flattering way to say it but it is true, so he nods.]

Yes, but Arthur will change that.
sworntovalor: (if a heart preserves it brightly...)

[Oh pssh. Be surprised when it's hidden.]

If I am to be knighted, then clearly he lives up to it.
sworntovalor: (if a man still remembers him)

Here I cannot say - as I said I am new here myself. But Castiel, the man I spoke of before, spoke of creating a group that would be responsible to respond to attacks, I imagine that be a form of City's guard. I have not yet heard of tourneys.

[They are ok.]
sworntovalor: (I'll get over it)

lmao look he's just very passionate about those tourneys!

If you would like to speak to him about joining, I'm certain he will be glad to give you all the details. I'm afraid I am rather poor at using this bracelet still but you can find him on the contact list.

[He shakes his head]

Tourneys are for knights.

[There is of course the chaos fest which is every person and every weapon allowed, but that's hardly a proper tourney.]
sworntovalor: (are you serious?)

Nor in Camelot, but I must confess it is far more convenient.

[Here have a small not at all bitter smile at that Robb]

In a way it is the same with Camelot, only limited to men who have already achieved certain glory and wish for more.

[Still better than your mess of a kingdom though :D]

Yes, there is much to be grateful for in Asgard.
sworntovalor: (I am yours to command)

[He doesn't have the wardrobe to survive it.]

As well as great ones. To stand by Prince Arthur and the many people of Camelot here is all I wish for.

To serve the people.

[Their lands lie -- Lord knows the distance to another world.]
sworntovalor: (a knight must swear he will obey)

[personal profile] sworntovalor 2012-08-07 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
It should.

[But many kings are cruel and unjust. Many kings would have their men die for land, and kill the people, or oppress them. Camelot is a rare gem.]
