2nd Battle | VIDEO
[ he may as well use this damn network for research. ]
If you were to take loyalties to a king, what kind of king would you want them to be? Would you think better if they were harsh or if they were wise? What sort of person would you lend your allegiances too?
[ It's a general topic. he's curious to hear the opinions of people around him. he seems less rigid than when he first arrived. the break from all the battles has done well on him. he's not uneasy and robb speaks with a warm confidence. ]

You would not serve a king who was just but poor?

[She pauses for a moment. It's probably better to explain with an example, and what better than that of a just king.]
Suppose there was a king who was renowned throughout the land for his compassion and commitment to justice. No just cause is too small for him to lead a campaign and set things right. But yet, he and his troops must eat, and there are many other expenses to consider. Shelter, weapons, medicine...for a time, the common people who support him might be able to provide these things out of love and respect for him.
[She offers a small smile.]
However, if he continues to use up resources without giving back and without any sort of reprieve, eventually people will tire of it. And this is assuming that the king's compassion and sense of justice are nigh flawless.

[ Small, as she continuous to list things - he grows weary. A part of him wonders does he possess any of these traits. He can win the crown, he is so sure. He believes in the spirit of those who ride with him. He believes in his own skills in battle. But he is a boy, so much younger than when King Robert led his rebellion to the mad king though the domain he wants - just the north - is reasonably smaller he cannot help but know that perhaps things will go differently. ]
That is not a song that has not been sung in a very long time, Milady. A king who fights for his people and loves his lands. Most try to attain crowns because that is where power resides.
Have you served under a leader that is compassionate?

[Ikaruga manages not to chuckle at the idea of any leader she served under being known for their compassion. Those kinds of leaders didn't lead mage guilds that took assassination jobs.]
A compassionate leader? Not particularly, no. I was merely trying to illustrate how even an ideal leader must take care to be responsible with money to ensure that those under his command prosper.

You raise excellent point, milady.
[ His ears perk up at that mention. Ideal leader. ]
May I ask what you would define as an 'ideal' leader?

How big is your guild and what does your guild stand for?
[ asking now cause he's mostly curious. ]

[She adds in a further explanation because a lot of people here don't seem to know what a mage guild does.]
Mage guilds are hired for various tasks, including hunting dangerous monsters, acting as bodyguards, or lifting curses.

And have you always known magic?
[ he's asking because he's legitimately curious. and asgard brings a myriad of cultures. ]
Is it something common to your realm?
