To those who wield fire:

I would like to know the extent of your control over fire as well as whether or not your abilities have increased significantly since you arrived in Asgard. And, if your abilities have increased, was it due to practice or did it happen naturally?

I suppose those inquiries could apply to any power, but I would like to compare notes with another fire user if at all possible.

A friend of mine has the fire ability. His increased in power without using it, so it seems it is not directly tied to the practice of it.

I have experience two increases in power, but I use my ability often.

I don't mind being able to produce flames. I wish I could do more.

You will be able to in time. Have you experienced an increase of yet?

Yes, but it has been progressive for me. I hear that's not always the case.

It was sudden, for me, and many of those I spoke with. A progressive increase seems to be uncommon.

I can set just about anything on fire. I haven't tried it on water yet, however.

That would be in interesting experiment.

I thought so. I nearly attempted it when the city was flooded, but others thought it would cause too much damage.

It might indeed have, particularly if it would turn the water to steam, or otherwise heated it. Items or individuals may have been burned.

Precisely the problem and I was trying to alleviate the problem - not exacerbate it.
