[ When the video feed comes on today it's anchored to the bracelet instead of the usual screen in front of someone's face. Because of this the video feed comes out sideways and might be a bit disorienting. If they can figure out how to tilt their heads though (durrrr) they'll see a rather static view of the city, just a street or two from this viewpoint. It's as flooded as anywhere else but there's no real audio to it--just the sounds of water lapping at someone's feet and the distant noise of busier parts of the city.

Whoever's started it isn't speaking or even moving--they're just standing there. And the video feed continues. GORG AND SCENIC. ]

[ If you happen to actually be out in the city though Roxas can be found near the Freya-Freyr area standing in a side-road in his....jammies. Yep. Someone sort of wandered off in them this morning. And is also now sort of staring up at the sky with the BLANKEST of blank expressions ever.

There is not a whole lot of thought going on in here right now ]

[ passing by... even when renovations are delayed by a flood, claudia has errands and places to be. of course, she stops for a familiar head of spiked hair. ]

Roxas?

[Does she have to work today? Will they open the store? Those are Nakama's first concerns, so she heads out in a dress and rubber flip-flops to find the store, wading along until she notices someone out by the border. Are they in their pyjamas? And it's definitely either Ven or Roxas, so she's concerned by this either way.]

Um... excuse me? [Coming up from behind him.]

Okay no it's Roxas, but he's not responding to the first call of his name and continuing to stare skyward ]

[ hand on his shoulder to pull him to face her. ]

Roxas?

[ He's not moving or even reacting to the hail though--it's like he hasn't even heard it, which is close to the truth. His range of awareness is impossibly pathetic right now--only what's in front of him gets the barest hints of recognition and it's incredibly fleeting at this point. When a bird flies overhead and disappears it doesn't even register for him--and if it had, it wouldn't have remained any long than until it vanished from his sight. ]

[ Normally there would be inquisition, or confusion or even some form of recognition in his eyes when he sees her, but today? There's no light or sense of self in the blank blue eyes at look up at her when she turns him around--in fact he barely even sees her until he realizes there's a touch and she slowly filters into his understanding of the world.

He doesn't recognize her--but then he wouldn't recognize anyone like this, blinking slowly and staring with his lip slightly parted. ]

[Oh, please don't let this be Roxas, please don't let this be...

She walks around in front of him, blinking at the utter vacuity of his stare.]

Roxas? Ven?

[ she frowns, eyebrows furrowing, and both hands on his shoulders, she kneels down to be more level with him. her knees dip into the water, but she doesn't mind. ]

What's wrong? You aren't hurt, are you?

[ cue her letting his shoulders go to start checking for injuries... ]

[Well, that's odd. New Traveler who doesn't know how to use their bracelet, maybe? Though, the lack of talking is pretty odd.

Merlin frowns when he sees the name attached to this video.]

Roxas? Did you accidentally turn your bracelet on?

[ His reply is a blank stare, devoid of any thought or feeling )8 But at least she's within his range of understanding now, and his eyes actually move to look up at her, flickering between realizing she's there and almost seeing through her.

"Roxas"--he understands that even if it doesn't show. "Ven", however.... ]

[ There's nothing visibly wrong with him--maybe the remnants of small bruises on his knees from skateboarding, but other than that he appears fine--physically.

His eyes follow her since she's made herself an object to be focused on, but he says nothing and continues to stare at her without comprehension ]

[ yes, actually. But he doesn't know how to reply or even have the awareness to answer that ): He's just as clueless in person, don't feel bad ]

[Okay, this is bad. She's got some people to call, but first of all...]

We should get you some proper clothes. I guess you don't remember where you live, huh?

[ becoming increasingly worried, here... is he sleepwalking? but shouldn't he be awake by now? brows furrowed, still, she cups his face with both hands. ]

Piccino, say something.

[He waits for a few minutes for a reply, and the worry starts seeping in when he doesn't get one.

Since Roxas isn't responding, Merlin grimly studies the scene until he makes out a (damp) banner in the Freyr house colour on one of the buildings. That's enough for him to go on, and the feed ends there.]

[Some ten minutes later (it takes longer with all the water to slosh through), Roxas might hear someone calling his name nearby.]

[ Judging from his expression he doesn't even understand what he's being asked, blinking slowly. ]

[ traveling across rooftops (and pretending to be seriously amateurish at it) when he... notices a kid standing there staring blankly up at, well, nothing in particular.

... which of course, catches his attention. he stops, and looks down from the rooftop. ]

Hey, kid! Whatcha lookin' at?

[Ven's still waddling around the floodwater for goodness knows what reason, mostly checking on people he knows, so when the next person on his list of people to check is conveniently outside, he brightens up. GOTTA CONGRATULATE YOU ON GETTING A GIRLFRIEND, BRO.]

Hey, Roxas!

[ Sophie is passing through the area, splashing through the water, but she stops when she sees a spiky haired boy just standing and staring up at the sky. ]

Hmm...?

[ She walks over, looks him over curiously, then stands next to him... staring up at the sky too. There doesn't seem to be anything up there, but it's like... Sophie's expecting something awesome to show up since Roxas is staring. mO_Om

Now they can both look weird. ]

[There's a huge black dog bounding towards Roxas, deliberately making huge splashes with every jump. He's going to bark at him too, when he's close enough.]

Okay, um... okay... we'll just take you shopping, alright? Can you follow me?

[Normally, she would think this is yet another new traveler that perhaps didn't know how to use their bracelet yet. That, or perhaps another one of those weird accidental videos that pop up once in a while and that she seldom responds to.

However, the name of the poster of this video makes her... a bit confused, to say the least.]

...Roxas? Is that you?

....? [ That's at least a command he can understand even if his reaction is a bit delayed and he looks rather confused. But he does as she's told him! ]

Some...thing.

.... [ A nod! He can do this--he works much better with requests and orders than questions. ]
