I noticed a few new faces showing up on the bracelet and that and Sakura-chan's question made me think maybe it was time to put these out there again. Sorry for the long-timers -- I'll try and keep this short so there's as little repetition as possible! Info on Asgard. Sam-san's guide to the Gods and Powers. We're working on a compilation of all three guides to make things easier, but for the moment you'll have to make do! That's when volunteers from each of the houses gather so you can ask questions and practice using your power with people who kind of know what they're doing. By the way, I'm one of the volunteers for Hel, so feel free to ask questions about Body Control. Help Wanted! - Making / Stocking Emergency Kits! We have two emergency kits for each Welcome Hall, and are gathering supplies to make more. The kits are free to anyone to use in an emergency situation and currently contain basic first aid supplies, canned food, torches, candles and space blankets. Seth-niichan and I are managing this project. We welcome donations of canned or packet food, cash or time, especially if you're someone with the power of drawing life! - Volunteers with Healing Magic / Power Transfer / Damage Drain are always welcomed at the Hospital in Sigyn! Incidentally, the hospital blood bank is now available to Travellers who need blood to survive. 323 years ago, they pulled Atlas out of the ocean. Kinda like the turn of the era.

Ha. That sounds fascinating.

What prompted that? Need for more land?

Sorta. The world needed a beacon. [ bad shit happened before that, man. some hope is always nice, especially on the technological front. ]

What is it you're trying not to tell me?

How did it happen? Was there another war?

Nah. The world threw a fit.

Um. I go to shrines at New Years and sometimes for festivals, but I don't believe.

The place I come from had a creator. But not a God. [ big distinction, here. ] People theorized this for a while, but they didn't really get anywhere until a guy actually went ahead and proved it.

And what happened was -- punishment for that?

Yeah. [ he's glad you got it-- ] Guy killed his daughter and jammed the creator's soul into her body. Creator got mad, and blew up a few places. [ this is the cliffnotes version (tm) ]

Textbooks say a lot of people died. Bunch of places sank into the ocean. Wars happened and things kind of fell apart from there.

And three hundred years on, things are still -- difficult?

Actually happened six hundred years ago. There're three hundred years that weren't accounted for.

[ pausing to retrieve information! ] The world threw a fit in 3251 AD. Led to 367 years that were considered in the 'PD' era. When Atlas rose out of the ocean, it was year one for RL. I come from present day 323 RL.

... I guess so. 'twas built as the city of innovation and technology. Ended up getting wrapped up in that.

Had a hard time gettin' used to the technology around here. [ in a 'how do you even use these outdated things' sort of way... ]

Is it difficult, being without it?
