[ Someone was awfully busy today! On the side of Hel's Welcome House, Painwheel has set up a small vegetable garden. Right now she's in the middle of setting up little signs to indicate where certain plants are growing. Looks like she's got tomatoes, onions, and carrots set up. It's a very small modest garden but Painwheel actually seems to be enjoying herself. She's even traded in her old ratted hospital gown for this dress, the choice being made quite obviously because of the wheel sticking out of her back. Though, she still hasn't felt the need to take off her mask while outside, it's a strange mixture between cute and downright scary.

After she finishes putting up the small signs, Painwheel fills up a watering can to begin watering the plants. She really hopes that watering her garden everyday will help calm her down enough to live a somewhat normal life. Her anger felt misplaced in Asgard. There were no laboratories or experiments or doctors or anyone else who could tell her what to do. And hopefully, it would stay that way. If not, she'd deal with it when she needed to. ]

[ Later on, she'll address the network. Audio only, as usual, sometimes it's nice to be a faceless voice. ]

Does anyone know if we're allowed to keep pets in the welcome houses? I don't think we are... but maybe I could get around it somehow.

[ She won't be the only ones near/in the gardens that day--in all his spidery glory Kaz has been shuffling through the districts looking for Gefion but...not having a lot of luck. It's hard when he's never been in a city before and he's used to landscapes, which is what really draws him to the foliage around Hel's welcome house. Foliage means food after all.

He'll spy...something (her) working in the dirt and quickly shuffle into the nearest bushes, squinting and watching her with suspicion ]

[ Painwheel isn't too observant, so she'll continue to work on her garden. She may have a huge blade on her back but otherwise she looks fairly harmless. Still, it looks like that blade could slice if it needed to. ]

[ For someone who isn't well-verse in...any sort of machinery, the best he can see it as is a tail or arm of some kind, although he's never quite seen anything like it. It gives her the impression of someone strong though, so he's careful and quiet as he slips into the foliage and circles around to her other side, peering around at her and trying to get a better look at her work ]

[ It's just an incredibly modest looking vegetable garden, handmade signs and everything. It looks kind of innocent, like it was the handywork of a young girl. Painwheel is very preoccupied at the moment; she's filling up her watering can with the hose to water the seeds a bit more. ]

[ That's the chance he'll take then to reach out with his longer spider arm--it's easier to try and take a hold of one of her gardening tools without leaving the bush as much, curious ]

[ He'll make off with a small shovel but it won't take but a few minutes for Painwheel to notice that it's gone and start looking for it. ]

[ he'll be turning it over curiously in his nubbin hand by then, clicking thoughtfully and....trying to bite it a little. He is a brilliant ok ]

[ Painwheel starts peaking near where Kaz is to try to locate her missing tool. Be careful, she's close to spotting him! ]

[ fffffff it'll be easy for her to hear the sound of his fangs clinking on the metal then, and he's so preoccupied he doesn't realize that Painwheel's close until she's basically right there. He practically drops the shovel in surprise, making plenty of noise as he scrambles further back into the bush ]

[ Painwheel seems a little too angry about this. She grabs the shovel, flings it behind her, and the grabs one of her pots and throws it too, breaking it against a nearby tree.

Once she's done with her angry outburst, she'll try to calm down, clutching her face and taking deep breaths. ]

... Sorry, sorry about that. Sorry.

[ There's no such thing as apologies between demons normally and Kaz certainly hasn't even encountered one--so her outburst provokes fear, and that fear provokes the need to make himself not seem like prey as he hisses loudly at her from within the bushes and holds his longer spidery arm up, trying to make himself seem larger ]
