Oh, please. If no one ever used it for anything ~exciting~, no one would want to learn magic.

Yeah, and no one knows magic except douchebags like Criss Angel or phonies like Siegfried and Roy. Or kids who are putting on magic shoes for their parents, but that's still not real magic.
