[ The screen flickers on to a blonde kid with a beanie pulled down so low it almost covers his eyes. He has an expression that somehow manages to be both incredibly confused and incredibly pleased at the same time. The feed wiggles around a little, and from the way his arm is positioned just off screen it's pretty clear he's screwing around with moving it the holographic panel. ]

Oh my god this is so awesome... and I thought my cellphone was cool.

[ The feed wiggles again... and then again more rapidly. Someone apparently is having a little much fun with his new toy. It abruptly stops and the teen looks almost sheepishly at the screen. ]

Oh crap... that was on wasn't it? Yeah... it was. I, uh.. sorry to anyone watching that.

[ Kazu is silent for a moment and tugs nervously on his hat for a moment. It looks like he might just be ready to escape this embarrassment all together and turn his neato bracelet thingermajiger off, but he pipes up again soon after. ]

I guess if anyone is out there this is a good time to ask if this whole thing is for real? That maid kind of explained things but she was... vaguely creepy.

[ Kazu is indeed still waiting near the entry palace, and still fiddling around with the bracelet touchscreens. He'd been attempting to figure out if it had any games on it like snake or breakaway just to pass the time after he puzzled out where the camera option was. ]

[A plastic sandwich baggy containing one ham and cheese sandwich is tossed his way out of the blue. A few yards in the direction is came from walks Zessica in some sort of revealing outfit with a grin on her face.]

Sorry I took so long.

[ He looks up just as the sandwich smacks him in the face of course. Luckily he has good reflexes and manages to grab it before it falls. ]

You weren't long at all!

[ He grins and glides over to her (as he happens to be wearing a pair of two wheeled skates instead of shoes) and tries not too stare TOO hard. She's totally even more of a knockout in person. ]

Glad to hear it. [She grins sheepishly as he comes over.]

Probably should have gotten your attention before tossing that, though. And I haven't introduced myself. I'm Zessica. [Her hand is offered for a shake.]

[ He takes her hand and thinks... now would be a really great time to be all awesome and gentlemanly and give her a delicate kiss on the knuckles like in the movies. ]

[ Aaaand nope. In real life someone like him kissing a girl's hand would just come off as vaguely creepy and probably get him smacked or something. ]

Okay, Kazu~ [When she says his name, her tone is playful with an accompanying smile.]

[Without waiting for an answer, she makes her way over.]

[ He has just the biggest smile ever as he follows her, holding that ham and cheese sandwich like it's a precious treasure. ]

Yeah questions are definitely something I have plenty of.

[ He takes a big bite after he sits down, and damn if this isn't the best sandwich EVER! ]

[And she'll sit next to him, close enough to brush against his arm.]

[ Don't blush Kazu, don't blush, don't... okay cool. He's got this. Now, onto the million questions he's got, like 'So is there seriously no way home?' and 'Why is everyone around here so creepy and kinda grayish?' and all sorts of important things. ]

[Zessica blinks at him before immediately clutching her stomach and bursting into giggles. Oh boy.]

[ And Kazu will just be quietly dying over here, his eyes almost completely hidden with how far he's tugged his hat down. ]

Of all the things to ask. [There's more laughter for a few moments before it dies off, and she turns to him, peering in. The distance might be just close enough to have him squirm a little more. Maybe.]

I don't actually. Are you offering?

[ Why yes. That does, in fact, mkae him squirm a little more. His poor sandwich is getting kinda squished now too because he's holding it pretty tightly. ]

N-no! I mean... I uh... I-it just slipped out!

Hmm. [Zessica hums a little, sounding slightly disappointed as she leans back against the bench.]

Either way, you might want to eat your sandwich before you squish it any flatter.

[ Crap! Did he screw up? Did he actually have a chance there? He takes a nibble or two of his sandwich as he mulled everything over. ]

But, uh, after I get settled in and figure out where things are and stuff.. maybe we could go to a cafe or a movie or something?

[His question actually catches her off guard. She honestly hadn't expected him to ask her that, and she looks over at him a little startled. However, the expression faces after a moment and she nods, smiling.]

Sounds fun. Count me in.

[ He is far more shocked that she actually agreed. His first order of business here is going to find a calender so he can write this date down. ]

I mean, cool.

[ ...perhaps now he should be asking some REAL questions. Would that be too awkward after that? Because he honestly DID have some... ]

So uh, there's really no way back, huh?

Yes, really. Not used to people agreeing? [She gives him a playful nudge, and she doesn't really expect him to answer that.]

As for a way back, I don't think so, since nobody's mentioned one. Plus, I doubt all these people would stay of their own will.
