[ The feed switches to video, and the expression on Link’s face is a bit dazed at first. He’s never seen a device like this! He’s seen a lot of amazing things during his adventures, but this is a first. ]

What?

[ He scratches the back of his head tilting it a little. His eyes wander around, gaze full of curiosity and amazement. ]

… He’s not here.

[ Another pause. The bird isn’t the only thing on his mind. There’s someone much more important. He fought so hard to save her. Where could she have gone? If he’s here, then there’s even a small chance that she could be here, too.... His brows furrow, expression determined, and slightly worried.

There's the letter that the God gave to him, but first thing was first: ]

Zelda. Has anyone seen someone by that name?

It's okay. [ He smiles, definitely seeing that unsureness. He does hope that she isn't alone though, if she's been taken here like everyone else... ] Is someone with you?

Oh, yeah! [ at that she nods, the unsureness fading away just a little. ] I'm with big bro and his friends, so it's okay. I'm not alone at all.

[ A big brother... Huh. the only family he's had is Zelda, who was more of a really close friend than anything else. So, he can relate just a little. ] That's good.

You shouldn't have to wander alone here.

Yeah, I don't want anyone to be alone either.. [ applying it to people in general here!! ] It would be pretty sad to be stuck here alone and not know anyone yet, right? They would feel lonely!

Mm. [ A thoughtful pause, and he runs his hands through his hair, thinking for a moment ]

... The Gods wouldn't get far without a lot of people here, too. [ he has mixed feelings about that. his expression falls ]

I wonder what they need us for, though.. [ they weren't very clear on it, after all, and when you're as young as Nanako it only gets more and more confusing. ]

I mean, I.. don't think I can really do anything special.

[ well.... for the many things that link learned during his journey--one of them was that everyone can do something ] That's not true.

Anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it.

[ Nanako pauses, humming as she tries to think up an example. ]

W-wow, then I want to go there one day! I want to see the moon, and the rabbit on it too! They say he's pounding mochi there every day.

[ A curious expression rises to Link's face at that ] There's a rabbit there?

Uh-huh. [ she nods. ] Do you mean you've never heard about the rabbit on the moon? Everyone's always talking about it!

Mm. I haven't. [ he does want to hear though, so he'll listen to what she has to say. ]

Well.. when you look at the moon really good at night, you can see the bunny on it! But you have to look really close, okay? And then you can see it on the moon, and that's where it's always pounding mochi!

It's a kind of food! [ headtilt ] Have you never had it before..?

[ shakes his head ] I didn't hear about that in Skyloft or the Surface World.

[ And he smiles a bit more at that second part, nodding his head once more. He hopes he gets to see it, too ]

[ oh, is this story time? either way Nanako giggles, nodding happily at his offer. ]

I'd like to hear about it.. Hearing about other worlds is almost a little like a fairytale.

Mm. It was always sunny in Skyloft--never too warm or cold, and it was always peaceful. There wasn't anyone who didn't have their wings to fly.

Wings..? S-so you're saying everyone could fly there back home in.. um.. Skyloft?

We all had Skywings--birds--that we could ride. All of us. They were like our wings.
