How many of you knew of an "Asgard" before arriving here? Be it a place, a land, a person, a book, an animal race or something else. Fictional or real both apply.

To rephrase: Did the word "Asgard" exist and mean anything in your world, and if yes, what? Or did you encounter it first after being drafted to this place?

[Testing the waters and theories.]

All are possible, but no less concerning.

And possibly agree to the fact they are not all-powerful? I doubt it. The egos of gods are not something to underestimate.

Ah yes, the return. The fact that the Gods don't want us to leave until they have reached a goal that they won't even explain to us.

For what seems like no reason at all. If the gods really did want us to return color to this place, save the native people, and everything else they preach - why let anyone leave at all?

Unless it's yet another thing the gods don't actually have control over.

No, not at all. I feel as though these gods are much less divine. Less omniscient.
eisenrache: (ugh please)

[Give Erik a moment to think about that before answering. Does he really want to give up his anonyminity?]

Erik. Erik Lensherr.

Likewise.

[The sentiment is shared, really. Erik thoroughly enjoyed this discussion. One of the first decent ones he's had since coming to Asgard.]
eisenrache: (very interesting ole chap)

I'm sure we can arrange that.
eisenrache: (uh-huh sure not actually listening)

I wouldn't be so optimistic, but we can hope.

Indeed.

[Erik is not going to comment when it comes to his own ideas on hope. Not something he would even consider bringing up. But he has a nice chuckle to himself while staring at his bracelet.]
