Come on.. I was waiting for it, but.. why isn't anyone speaking up about this?!

[ Congratulations, Asgard, you now have the addition of one fierce redhead newcomer - or rather, a loudmouth, considering how she's practically yelling at the bracelet without seeming to show much shame over doing so. She isn't entirely angry though, even if that's more obvious, but there's something almost.. nervous about the way she speaks too, as if she still can't completely grasp the situation. ]

This is practically nothing more than a kidnapping case, isn't it?! 'You have been chosen', don't make me laugh..! And they can just do that to us, like it's something normal? They can't just get away with something like that, it's wrong! This is the kind of thing you're supposed to call the cops over, or at least do something--

[ The girl halts mid-sentence because.. well, yes, she doesn't know what to do either right now, especially not while she's still caught up in the surprise. At least it seems to calm her down a bit more, even if she still seems dissatisfied. ]

... There's got to be at least someone who can give some more answers, right? Or maybe it's all some weird dream..

[ People from Heimdall are also free to see the newcomer yell at her bracelet in person and all. ]

And.. yeah, I pretty much just arrived. Got that letter shoved into my hands from that weird [ creepy ] maid.

Not at all. From what I've seen, there are quite a few of us here that are new. People keep showing up every day, it seems.

Uh... [Give her a second, she has to pull out the letter, double-checking.] Heimdall. What about you?

Every day.. so until they're stopped they'll keep pulling new people in here. [ and that's terrible in her eyes, really. ]

... Oh, I'm in Heimdall too! It's at least good to be in the same house as someone with the police, I guess.. It feels a little comforting.

That's what I've gathered, yeah. The issue here is that no one really knows what they want.

[She smiles at that.] My room's on the first floor, though I haven't really seen it yet. Still in the main hall trying to figure out as much as I can. But yeah, I'm here.

They could've been more clear, at least! Just tell us if you're asking ransom for us or whatever instead of putting some nonsense about 'returning color to the city' in the letter..! These kidnappers are seriously the worst.

[ sigh.. ] I don't even know which room's mine yet..

That would sure make things easier. But I'm still looking around, trying to get information. There have to be answers somewhere.

[Shrug.] I'm not very comfortable with the rooms, I don't like thinking that these 'gods' are so intent on us staying here for long enough to need a place like that.

Yeah, me neither, but.. it's a really weird kind of kidnapping, to have it happen to this many people at the same time, not to mention all the stuff they prepared for us like rooms and places for food and all..

[She flips through a few notes she's been taking.] There's more than that, too. They seem to have been setting up jobs, parties and things.

[ She says the name so surprised that you'd almost think she's talking about something less mundane - although it being mundane is exactly the point here.. ]

You've got me. The feast is supposed to be some sort of apology for the color around the city and how everyone was supposed to get their freedom but didn't. So instead of letting us go, they're throwing a feast.

... That's ridiculous..! Don't tell me any of the people here actually fall for that!

There are. The issue here is that a lot of people I've spoken with seem to be content with the way things are, just living out our lives here. As far as they're concerned, this is just something to do.

They're okay with being kidnapped.. What kind of people are they to be okay with that?! I mean, I guess they might have forgotten that in the end all of this is just an elaborate kind of being kidnapped, but geez..!

I guess it could be some kind of form of Stockholm Syndrome. They've been here for long enough that they've accepted this is the way things are, that they won't change, so they just accept it.

Well.. no matter what happens, I won't give in..! For sure!

[Kate kind of gives her a small smile.]

Just be sure to stay safe, I haven't found any kind of police-force around so I don't know how safe or dangerous the streets are.

Don't worry, I can stand my own if it's needed.
