Hey. I’m not into public introductions, it feels like AA or something. Name’s Rudolf Ushiromiya, just got a few questions here for the rest of you.

Anyone know how exactly they decide where you go? It’s like a horoscope, right? Personalities and all that. So what’s the formula, if you want specifics, it’d be Baldr. If you don’t like how they judged you, who do you talk to about getting a switch? I don’t like the idea of somebody just assuming who I am.

Oh yeah, and what kind of jobs are up for grabs, or businesses that might be needed. This suite doesn’t really suit my tastes. …And I guess I’m gonna have to buy cigarettes.

In other words... this is a sudden burst of shocking excitement into Ushiromiya-san's life!!

[He laughs] Nah, it was pretty exciting just before I showed up here, this pales in comparison. A little too exciting.

But it's not like that's my daily life.

Depends on the kind, that was the kind where we were finding dead bodies, so not exactly the good kind.

Apparently a witch had it in for our family, and it just so happens we were all gathered together on an island during a storm. I dunno, we all laughed at the witch story, but by now it's hard to deny it. Things were messed up either way.

I see... You couldn't find anyone else who might have been responsible?

[He's already told Will the story, and it's all past now, so...]

Well we all probably thought it was one of us, but then we locked ourselves in together and anyone who left ended up dead. Everyone had an alibi so it wasn't working. I went out with the wife and brother-in-law to bring food back to everyone, but we were attacked by stuff I'm pretty certain's impossible.
