first minute [Voice/Video]
[There's the sound of fumbling as someone seems to be trying to get the braclet to work- however, the video function doesn't turn on yet, and all you can hear is the voice of a man.]
Huh, some sort of screen. Er, no no no, wait, I shouldn't get distracted by this. Please, miss maid, there must be some mistake! I can't stay here.
[The man sounds almost manic and rather worried. Looks like someone is not taking this new place very well.]
I'm on the lookout for this murderer, you see, and if I don't get back, he's going to kill my brethern! I can't let that happen. And really, tell Mr. Heimdall that despite what he calls himself, he is not the god I work for. And I know, because, well, God created me.
[The maid responds patiently in a level tone.] You have been brought here to bring life to the world.
Okay, yes. I realize that! Please, you've got the wrong person. Can't I just go home, maybe, and fix what's going on there and then come back here? And why in the world did you take my wings? I feel so normal without them.
You cannot return home. It is impossible. Here is the door to the Welcome Hall, sir.
[The man lets out a frustrated sigh, and suddenly, with a click, the video function turns on, revealing a strange-looking fellow with short red hair and...clocks for eyes??]
Wait a second, what did this button on the screen do? Hello? Anyone out there? It seems to be recording me...well, that's ingenious, actually.
No, stop it, Cheriour, you can't be distracted! Oh dear, I have to get back...I can't stay here. Not at all. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...

[Video] POOR CHERIOIR BTW SPNVERSE IS SO AWFUL AND SAD our god is a drunk mister clock angel 8(
[He's speaking carefully. He knows Cas is probably watching this.]
Cas is a friend of mine from my world, so -- yeah. That's how it goes. The people who they take have to say yes, though. It's not a possession.
[And, most importantly -- ]
Why clocks?
[Video] HERE LET ME HUG YOU WE CAN TALK ABOUT DRUNK GOD gosh your world is a sad place
[A frown,] Well, that's somewhat better if they ask permission. I'd hate to infringe on someone's body if I was the type of angel that lived in your world.
Because of the ticking.
[Video] SOB HE WENT OUT FOR CIGARETTES AND NEVER CAME BACK
[More like 'positively devastating'. Castiel had drunk an entire liquor store when he found out God didn't care. It wasn't an easy pill to swallow.]
No one in our world knows where He is. We know He isn't dead, but the one angel that talks to him on a regular basis told us He left Heaven a long time ago. And one of my friends is an angel -- and he couldn't find Him either. He's under the radar, wherever He is.
[Sam seems at peace with this information, though. He knew God wasn't going to intervene a long time ago.]
Why the ticking?
[Video] /PATS THERE THERE HE MUST LOVE YOU SOMEHOW
[He's silent for a moment. If he had been born in Sam's world, would things have turned out differently?]
So He went into hiding? That's-that's rather cowardly. Was there even a motive behind it? Or did He just want to save His own hide...
[A pause.]
The ticking is to help me focus on what I'm meant to do. If it wasn't there I'd focus...well, I'd focus on other things that I shouldn't be focusing on at all.
[Video] NO HE DOESN'T 8(
[There isn't often where Sam Winchester says that, but when he does, he has exhausted any and all means possible to find out. He wishes he could know why God wasn't around, if only for Castiel's benefit than anyone else's. Dean didn't believe in the first place, and while Sam still does, it isn't the same kind of hurt as having your father not care enough to try and save you.]
But it was voluntary. That's pretty much all we've found out.
[Video] THEN HE IS A MEANY PANTS >8I
[He pauses, unsure what to say.]
I'm sorry that that happened to your world. It isn't fair...
[Video] HE IS AND HIS BOOKS SUCK
[And Sam offers a smile to the angel.]
Besides, if it had been different and God had been around, my brother and I probably would've never met someone that wound up being family.
[And Sam shrugs.]
You make do with the family you have even if it isn't by blood.
[Video] WAIT WHAT BOOKS 8I
[He returns that smile.] Is that so? Well, I'm glad, then. You can always find something worth being happy over in terrible events.
You don't have a large biological family, I'm guessing? Just your brother?
[Video] YOU KNOW. HIS BOOKS. D8
[Video] DUDE GOD iISN'T A AUTHOR/PROPHET WHERE I COME FROM THIS IS CONFUSING
[Video] THIS IS WHY YOUR GOD IS MORE AWESOME THAN MINE.
Yeah, definitely.
[It'd be for the first time in awhile.]
[Video] YOUR GOD IS MESSED UP I AGREE
