✿ Chapter 003. [Audio][Day 62]
[Hello, Asgard. You all must have noticed the fog cleared, right?
Well, now you can hear this familiar quiet voice, more shaky than normal, but for completely different reasons that aren't half negative- but not that positive either. Hanako still can't believe her eyes when she's looked out the window this morning.]
The colors... the c-colors returned...
D-does that mean that we... we can go back home now? Or...
[There's hesitation, and then an abrupt click as she puts the feed off.]

I AM UNCONVINCED.
[He took the bag and stood up, bushing grass from his knees and avoiding eye contact. He was never the greatest at conflict resolution - he had very little experience with it. He'd already apologised several times and wasn't sure what else he was supposed to do at this point.]
I AM UNINTERESTED IN YOUR UNCONVINCEDNESS.
So without eye contact, Hanako dusts herself off as well and looks around for orientation, before she sets off to exit the park.]
I AM UNCONVINCED OF YOUR UNINTERESTEDNESS. /Bed time, night!! o/
He wants to say SOMETHING to break the silence. Without even the natives around, this whole place is deafeningly silent. He can hear his own heart beat louder than any other noise at the moment. But what to say? His footfalls roughly match his heart rate as he walks along.]
I AM UNINTERESTED IN YOUR FACE /ollies to bed too
Her inner turmoil could be louder than his heartbeat if anybody could hear that. Hanako actually didn't really know where to go, but as long as she walked, that didn't matter much.
However, she's still walking slowly and with some uncertainty, her arms crossed defensively.]
But my face is super interesting /sneakily sneaks in a tag ooh so sneaky
Well, walking without talking like this is going to get them nowhere. He would sooner she tell him off if it was going to come to that. Then maybe they'd at least have a chance at a clean slate.]
You can tell me if you're upset with me, you know.
[His voice was quiet, somewhere between nervous and reassuring.]
I'm a big boy - I can take it.
Your face is uninteresting forever. /lolol
She turns around abruptly, her face painted in pure shock and surprise.]
... I'm n-not upset at you. [She stutters. Wow you can't expect him to read your mind, Hanako. There's no such power in Asgard.] I'm not... upset at you, at all. It's not you...
/most interesting face.
But if you're not mad at me, then why are you upset? I thought I'd made you angry?
[Her surprise looked very genuine and he didn't think she would fib if he really WAS the source of her upset.]
It's useless, you won't dazzle me.
It's... me, it's just me.
...not even a little bit? /sparkle sparkle
[Was she upset at herself for babying him? Was she upset at herself over something else?]
Can you tell me what you're thinking?
[His voice was very soft and there was no-one else around. She might not want to talk about it and that would be fine, but really, he just wanted to get it all into the open and dealt with so they could get back to enjoying the day.]
Nope. Not even your sweatervest will do it.
[She looks down.]
It's me, because... I worried too much over you. I've done something that I would never let anyone do to me.
It will. I bet you it will.
It's OK. Don't keep beating youself up about it, alright? Like I said, I actually appreciate that you care enough to worry. That means a lot to me.
[If she was this upset over her own worried nature, then he would have to be careful never to fuss over her too much either. He knew he had a tendancy to dote on her a little bit, but he never meant to infringe upon her sense of self with any kind of mollycoddling.]
No it won't. I have someone else in my heart.
Her lips curve upwards so slightly it could still be seen as a lineface]
Alright...
It's Sweatervest!Kenji. Isn't it?
Then, I think that's settled, right? No more need for you to feel bad.
No, he's hideous!
[She nods- well that seems to be cleared.]
Hideously wonderful.
[He pulled the map from his back pocket and looked it over.]
...the next closest thing to us is called Folkvang comfort house. Some kind of Spa... I don't know if we want to go there. There's also a theatre, one more district over. I don't know if it costs to go in and watch anything, though...
Hideously hideous.
You may be right on that one, actually.
[Because really, when he first showed up the very last thing he was worried about was the architecture.]
I'm always right.
[She's pretty curious about how a castle is from the inside.]
Always? Really?
Yes.
Never wrong? About anything? Ever ever ever?
Exactly.
Are you sure about that?
100% sure.
....-100%.
[Still. That isn't a problem he can solve just at the moment.]
