what curse could be worse? [video]
[It starts when she rolls over in bed, opens her eyes, and can't see anything.
Oh, she's not fully blind - the world is just a fuzzy blur, vague shapes appearing when she squints her eyes and then vanishing back into the muddle afterward. Luckily she knows her little room well enough to get up and stumble over to the dresser, but as soon as she moves, she knows that there have been more changes made to her body than just her sight.
Very vital changes.
That causes her to leap out of bed, bashing her leg on the bedside table as she does it, and run to the mirror. She can barely even see herself, but she knows that her basic shape is different - her shoulders are a bit broader, and she can feel and see thick, heavy bangs falling over her forehead and in front of her ears. Startled, she presses her nose right to the glass; her hair looks… it looks like…
Finally, it makes sense. She feels around on her bedside table until her hands close around a pair of glasses and slips them on, and sure enough, a familiar figure appears when she looks back to the mirror.
She's somehow been turned into Jun Ushiro.
Wait, did she say it made sense? Because it makes no sense at all.]
[When she turns on the video function on her bracelet, it's zoomed in tightly on the boy's face she now possesses. Her (his?) voice is highish and hoarse around the edges, in keeping with the physical age of his body, and she sounds vaguely frantic.]
Um. Are. Are there any guys in Heimdall who are about five feet tall, maybe - 90 or so pounds? - who have some spare clothes they could bring to my room? Something really, really strange is going on.

Haha, seriously? You think this place is just going to let you live your life in peace? Have you been paying attention to all the people exploding?

She stands up from her bed, glad to be properly dressed now (in a black long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans), and opens the window.]
- there you go.
[action]
Vriska comes around the corner of the building a moment later, yes, flying. And she grins all spidery and big when she sees the open window, and Nakama behind it. Over she comes, calculating her movements so the slip-slide of her powers let her stop just before the window. And there she sits, in midair, arms and legs crossed. ]
Change your mind about company?
[ Needle, needle. ]
[action]
[Her room is more decorated than it has been in the past, but still rather plain - there are two stuffed animals in one corner, a cloak hung on a hook on her door, and there's an ornate silver frame with a picture of herself and her mother on the desk. Everything else is neatly tidied away.]
[action]
Why am I not surprised you keep this place, like, spotlessly clean?
[ ... stares at her. ]
Ahaha, you look even weirder in person.
[action]
There's nothing I can do about it if he's weird-looking.
[Now that Vriska's here, she has no idea what to do. She paces a little, rearranging her stuffed animals and tugging on the bedspread. She's full of nervous, angry energy.]
[action]
Something the maaaaaaaatter, Nakama?

[ Props her chin on her hands and smiles. ]
[action]
You want to be friends?
[action]
Does she? Not really. Nakama is annoying, too virtuous by half and boring as hell. But by the same token, that's what sort of makes her fun and interesting and kind of a challenge. ]
Sure.
[action]
There's something she has to say, though.]
I won't be friends with someone who deliberately hurts people. [That's not a rejection - it's an offer. For her to change her ways.]
