Hihi, ladies, gentlefolk, and loyal fans! It's time for Mami's second round of creature info! She might not know animals as well as Hibikin, but Mami is a complete faerie expert when it comes to strategy!

Ufufu...did you know, they're very hateful? Even though these faeries look young and playful, they don't want to be friends at all! Maybe if you're good at charming, you can try, though! Mami's seen that a lot of them move in numbers, but there are still solo agents that come in the night!

[By the way, there's a trio of faeries right behind Mami in the shot. She knows they're there, and for once, she's surprisingly well hidden and bundled up for this sort of thing.]

Ice creatures are obviously weak against fire! Odie's troops will be super useful here. They aren't very smart, either, even if they look like people. They move pretty slowly, too, and if you're inside, they don't try very hard to get in!

Cutie Librarian Strategist Mami is requesting back-up in the Lokin district! She repeats! That title is kinda long, though, so she won't say that part again. Requesting back-up in Lokin district! Ohimechin, Yakuza-san, please! Mami is cornered! Remember, [she starts, pulling out a heavy-looking wooden hammer from behind her. Seriously? That's her weapon? A wooden hammer?] unity is strength!

[The feed ends. For those who come to her aid, she's somehow attracted the attention of eight or nine of these damn faeries with her broadcasting. She's trying to keep them back by climbing up, but she's kind of cornered in an alley. Good luck, Mami!]

[At first, Chihaya will notice that the alley that Mami indicated in the video is currently missing something. It's missing Mami...to the trained eye. The fact that seven fairies are scratching at and climbing on a dumpster is a pretty good hint to how Mami's doing, though, especially when she rams herself up through one of the lids to knock them off.]

Mami Hammer!!! [She shouts as she takes a good hit at one of them before almost ducking back in.]...Chihaya-oneesan, you're here!

[ Mami-! ... well, Chihaya doesn't feel safe stopping her song even for a moment, so she simply nods, holds the garbage can lid in front of her, and suddenly rushes at the dumpster, aiming to mash one or two of the fairies against the dumpster. Hopefully, her song is distracting them long enough for Mami to get a few more good hits in... ]

[Mami, finally able to climb out of her disaster area, helps to hit a few of them while they're distracted. She can only get a few good, strong hits in...but they're pretty effective nonetheless, thanks to hitting them a few times already.]

Keep it up, Chihaya-oneesan!

[ Chihaya's song grows stronger once she sees that Mami is still fighting fit; she backs up and lunges forward again, finishing off the fairy she's fighting. ]

[Another one bites the dust. Another one bites the dust. And another one gone, and another one gone, another one bites the dust. Hey, I'm gonna get you too. Another one bites the dust.

It's a long battle, in other words, but eventually there's nothing but ice left. Mami is tired out, though. Her shoulders heave as she pants, her breath visible in front of her. Her back is to Chihaya for now.]

We did it, Chihaya-oneesan!

[ Chihaya stops singing and leans back against the wall, taking a moment to catch her breath. She's always prided herself on her endurance, especially when it comes to singing, but it's another thing completely when you're on edge and fighting things that are trying to kill you. ]

G... good job, Mami. Are... are you alright?

[She turns back around before replying, obviously still winded from all of that smashing. She needs a better weapon than a toy.]

Mami is A-OK! [Probably not a Japanese term! All the more reason for her to know it!] Thanks to Chihaya-oneesan, at least!

[ Only then does Chihaya allow herself to breathe a sigh of relief. ]

Thank goodness.. that's the most important thing.

[ She straightens back up, steeling herself once more. REST TIME IS OVER FOR HER ] We should hurry to someplace safer. Can you run?

Of course! Mami...she still has lots of energy left!

[And she looks like she's ready to go, for all of a few seconds that is. After that, though, she looks back at the piles of ice behind her.]

...She still needs to report on their moments, though. You can go on, Chihaya-oneesan!

[ Chihaya doesn't hesitate, shaking her head. ]

I can wait. It would be safer to stick together, after all.

[She's already pulled up her bracelet and is texting someone about what she learned during that attack. It doesn't take her more than a minute, but really! She can't text in Futami Symbolese, so it's a little slower.]

There! Mission reported!

Right. Let's get moving.

[ ... oh, wait, come to think of it. ]

Who were you texting?

Mami was just texting her commander! Where should we go next, Chihaya-oneechan?

[ THAT ANSWERS NOTHING- well, more importantly- ]

I am dropping you straight back to Loki House, Mami.

Uwoah! No way, Chihaya-oneechan! Mami isn't done doing her part yet! There's still plenty of faeries to keep track of.

Mami, no; the city's too dangerous right now! Why do you need to keep track of them, anyway?

Aren't we trying to get them all out of the city? It's the only way to ensure our safety, right?

But if they keep attacking people, and we can't reason with them... Mami, I don't think we can do anything but attack them back.

That's why Mami's not done! She'll just have to be sneakier this time. She can gather information, and then stronger people can do the work, right?

[ S-SIGH... well, she DOES have a point, it's for a good cause, and these are some really strange circumstances. Still- ]

... then... at least tell me exactly who your 'commander' is that you're texting?

Someone who will get the job done for Mami, of course!

Commander is commander. [She's texting random people she knows random information, actually, but that's not really important.] Mami trusts them! All of them.
