[The video opens to an extremely perturbed-looking face. He has an unruly thatch of blond curls, and is dressed in what appears to be medieval chainmail. He’s looking into the camera with a combined look of distrust and consternation.]
I appear to have been kidnapped. I am unaware of this manner of witchcraft keeping me here, but be aware that I am not a man who easily gives up. If it’s information about Prince Arthur and Camelot you are after, then you’d best look elsewhere. I am loyal to my King and my home.
Anyone with information about how to leave this place would be most welcome to find me.
[He nods, clearly finished his speech. This is then followed by about a minute of Leon trying to work out how to turn off the camera, his face becoming increasingly more perturbed by the second. There’s a brief look of triumph on his face as he works it out, then the feed ends.]

You're alright, though? No one's tried to hurt you?
I'm just fine. The gods have been keeping to themselves since the first group of captives came in. [He hesitates.] They haven't done anything to hurt us yet.
[Leon's job has always been to make sure Arthur stays safe, and ever since Merlin became his servant, that duty slowly crept out to encircle him as well.]
[Merlin manages to keep a straight face at the "sorcerer" bit, and continues.] There was an attack a couple weeks ago, and we've all just been trying to figure things out.
[At least that's something he's more familiar with.]
Do you think people have been brought here for their skills?

[Don't sugar-coat it, Merlin.]
[He can't help it! It's not exactly an easy topic to bring up in Camelot.]
We're not in Camelot anymore. I understand that different laws must apply here.
[Another pause.]
Does that mean Arthur has magic as well?
He's...not accepting it. That he has magic, I mean. Seems convinced that the gods must have skipped over him, but I don't think they did. Everyone has something.
[Not that Leon really remembers a great deal about Camelot before the great purge, but there are still a few foggy memories.]</small.
He eyes Sir Leon cautiously.] You're taking it a bit better than I expected.
[Goes quiet for a second.] I guess the main problem is the magic, for everyone who's from Camelot.
[Leon's inner turmoil may be a little more subdued than other people's from their world. But it's certainly present. He was only a small child when the great purge began. By the time he began his training as a knight, it was expected that he would uphold each and all of Uther's laws. But in this place... well none of those apply, do they? Racking his brain, Leon can't discern whether or not he ever really thought about his own opinion on magic at all.]
Leon...? What are you thinking?
[Give him some time, Merlin. Twenty years spent helping combat magic don't disappear over night.]
