2nd Chapter - [Video/Action for Heimdall]

[When Shiage gets back from the Ball, he'll find out that Mugino has broken into his apartment and left him hundreds of cards with a wide variety of messages on them. Some of them may have mushy things written on them, some of them may have mushy things written on them accompanied by crappy drawings of really grotesque and gorey things like people getting disemboweled, and some of them will have downright stalkerish and horrible messages on them like "No matter where you go, I'll find you" or "I want to cut your penis off," or "It doesn't matter how many girls I have to burn down there so you can't fuck them, someday you'll be mine." Probably a lot of sexual passes because damn she wants Shiage's dick bad. These cards will be crammed in all kinds of ridiculous places, like in his microwave, between couch cushions, etc. They will no doubt be covered in hearts and glitter and rainbows and all kinds of shit like that.

His apartment will be an absolute mess when he finds it--furniture overturned, shit pulled out of drawers and thrown wherever, and a lot of red paint smeared all over the place(she wanted it to look like blood okay). He may notice some of his clothing(underwear?) is missing.

And last but not least? His bed. It'll be completely unmade--because Mugino will have laid in it and cuddled with his pillow.

Just leave it to her to completely vandalize my apartment in one fatal swoop. If there's one thing about her, she always does everything with 100% percent completion. It's exactly like how an obsessed video gamer wants to unlock everything right down to the secret ending.

Or maybe just using humor in a situation like this was the only way to keep himself sane right now. Just, why, why, why, why--- Why did these horrible situations always happen to him? She didn't have to go through his underwear, at least! It's seriously him getting badtouched without the touching part! But even here, he couldn't escape the City's darkness.] Hahaha... Ha...

That doesn't mean that you shouldn't give up hope within people. Just because we have cruel people in the world, it doesn't mean that you have become the same way as them.

Those idiots only help you in exchange for a price -- money or a favour, sometimes they even label it as a debt or something they had to do because of something you may of or may not of done for them. Only a fool would fall for those type of insincere tricks.

[Ah, she almost sounded like Mugino in a way. As a mere thug, he couldn't possibly know of how horrible her life must have been. But he knew one thing, this girl was deep in some kind of darkness, but it wasn't as far deep as Mugino was at this point. The last thing he would want to see is her become another slave to the darkness like he saw for other people.

Shiage is quiet as he listens to those words and they sting a little. To be honest, he would've been put down as one of those kinds of people from a long time ago. Back then, he really was a selfish bastard who would've done anything to get by. He was just a Level 0 who wasn't born lucky with a silver spoon in his mouth, after all. And even now, he was still stuggling to get himself a normal life... But hearing this was just all the more reason on why he wanted to help her.]

You've... you've been seriously hurt a lot in the past, haven't you? But even so, I can't agree with that. There are definitely others out there who will help you out with no fee of charge and just out of kindness. Those are the kinds of people that we need to see more of in this shitty world.

There are people who will accept you for who you are and all of your faults! That's what friendship is all about! When you've got someone that you trust, they'll help you without a price. Why do they do it? It's because they don't need a reason. They just want to do it. That's what I believe, anyway.

Of course, a person who has yet to learn of the world would say something like “Everyone is out to help each other.” But the truth of the matter is that everyone is out to help themselves. Atavism is the tendency to revert to ancestral type. In biology, an atavism is an evolutionary throwback, such as traits reappearing which had disappeared generations before. In other words, I’m the throwback as our kind seem to have some youkai blood running through our blood from decades ago. Sometimes we even have their exact personalities and, as such, sometimes we even suffer the same fate they had to. As soon as one of our kind are born, we are treated with the highest of care.

So, basically... Your family was really special because they had ancient blood runnin' through their veins? And this 'youkai' thing... What exactly is it? I've seen it tossed around in manga and video games, but I never fully understood the term.

Hmph, you really are as stupid as your face says you are. Anyone would know that when someone says ‘youkai’ they mean it as supernatural monsters. Like Tanuki and Kitsune.
