You recall nothing about them, and care little about what they are. Yet when you hear that I am part of them, you immediately recall that you have heard of them, even though it was such a passing event to you that you could not even remember who told you or what you heard of them.

It isn't difficult to remember facts. A stranger's business shouldn't concern you too much. Not when you just arrived.

So you don't deny the oddness of it.
