[Or as much of an "apology" as you're gonna get from this girl, Senji. Brace yourself this is going public.]

Alright, so apparently an old buddy of mine thinks I'm trying to ruin his life or somethin'--but he's got that all wrong. It's just a friend tryin' to help another friend out, right? Not like I'm spreading total bullshit about him or giving him a bad name.

...But I guess I jumped the gun on assuming something here. I always thought he was just shy around girls 'cause he was some giant prude, but....well....I've gotta correct myself on that.

[And she's reluctant to admit it. Or is she?]

Didn't know you swung the other way, Crow. My bad.

[And have an almost apologetic (but more of a smirk than anything) smile here before the feed ends.]

Y'know you could always ignore it if it bothers you that much.

I'd at least like to see if anyone has something useful to say over these things, but instead I just find it cluttered with this kind of stuff.

How about talking about the whole dragon attack that happened, huh? That seems a lot more useful to me, especially since he practically declared war and yet no one seems to pay any attention to it.

At this rate, they'll just wipe out the entire place before anyone is prepared.

It'd be a helluva lot easier to fight in a war with my old powers--pretty sure it's the same for others, too.

...I dunno, sure, times are tough, but if everyone gets all stressed out and freaked out about it, nothin' good can happen. Throwin' in a little entertainment helps keep 'em from going crazy, right?

Anyways, If you're so worried about it, try setting up a training session or somethin'.

I think that counts for pretty much anyone. It's like those "gods" are sending us to fight their war without even giving us our old powers back, which is pretty lame, to be honest. I guess we're just disposable to them either way.

And I've already been ehlping out a few people, but it just annoys me to see some people are so unconcerned about it, especially since I already know they'll just whine about it later when the actual war happens.

[She might act unconcerned but she's secretly been working on her shadow control.]

Guess some people just aren't cut out for that stuff. What's your power, by the way?

[ There's a moment where she ponders whether to share this information or not, but.. well, aside from someone who likes to rile up Senji, this girl doesn't exactly seem like a horrible person, so.. ]

As far as I've gathered so far, there's two different kinds of abilities for people in our house. Either controlling shadows or controlling other people's bodies. I would fall into the latter category.

[It's all in good fun! And she won't correct her bad image if anyone pegs her a bad person, but if you ever manage to get on her good side she's not exactly uncaring.]

Body control, huh? Mine's that shadow thing.

Yeah, it's not really useful so far though, considering it's still pretty weak.. I can only move parts of people's body, not their entire body. I think the shadows might be easier to use in actual combat.

[Pathetic is right. But it sure is amusing to her.]

Might be once I figure out how to use the damn thing. Most I can get it to do so far is kinda...crawl up and wave around a little. It's pretty damn creepy if you ask me. But yeah, body control seems good for stoppin' enemies in their tracks and stuff. Guess the powers get more useful as we learn to use 'em.

On that note, I do know what you mean about the war comin' up and all. I don't really wanna fight in it--but hell if I wanna die for those moron gods, either. ...If you're ever up for a sparring match or somethin', gimme a call, alright? I'm sure we could both use it for getting stronger, and you're pretty serious about all this stuff.

... [ well, at least the girl has a similar mindset as her - Ange doesn't feel like fighting for anyone else's cause either, but she doesn't feel like letting herself be run over either, and there's even people like Battler who she wants to protect in this place, so.. well, what bad could it be. ]

Sure, I wouldn't really mind that. We need to be as prepared as possible for whatever's coming, and even though people are offering spars over these bracelets I don't feel like doing that with some random stranger. [ shrug. ] You'd be okay though, I guess.

Yeah, same here. I'd rather train with someone I've actually met beforehand than work with some stranger.

Then it's a deal. Let's try to get a spar on sometime soon before the war catches up with us. I doubt controlling bodies will do much against a dragon, but a war implies there'll be actual soldiers or something to fight, so I want to practice to make sure.

Alright. Just call me with the time and place sometime and I'll be there.

Sure, I'll get on it sooner or later unless the "gods" think up something else completely lame to distract and bother us.
