Hello, everyone. I know it's been a long time but I've finally finished writing up all my notes about Asgard and everyone's worlds. I know it doesn't quite cover all the worlds that have been introduced here but it's a start! If you'd like to add anything then, please, let me know as soon as you're able.

[ She smiles, softly, expression bright. She's very proud of herself, really, and more than glad that she's finally able to contribute something solid and real to Asgard. She's finally able to put all her research together and actually show it to her friends and acquaintances and, maybe, actually help them in the long run. ]

It's a digital file, so I think you should all be able to access it using your bracelets. If you have any problems then, please, let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help.

Otherwise, how is everyone? Things have been quieter than usual, which I think is a good thing, so I hope that means well for you all. 

[ She pauses, pursing her lips, before she shakes her head and sighs just before the feed turns off. ]

I dunno if you could say our world really has a 'name'. It's just an Earth, right?
Ain't really a mirror world, either. Wasn't like another version of it like the mirror world here was. But... Yeah, it was pretty close.

I was hoping to use names to differentiate one 'Earth' from another but you're right - for a lot of us home is just Earth, or England. It's hard to tell where they start to become different.

[ She nods, perking up a little at the prospect of being given more information. ]

What would you call it instead of 'mirror world', then? I only learned a little about it from the post you and your friends made.

Japan, for us. But yeah. And there are other folks here from the same world, but a different city, so that ain't gonna help either...

An'... huh. We always just called it the 'TV world', 'cause that was how we got there.

Alright, I'll add Japan to the information for your home.

[ A pause, then - hang on. Did he just? ]

The TV world? So it was like some kind of magic?

[Ah, hang it. She knows the others, she knows what the place is, there's not too much point in being all restrained about the details. What good would playing at secrets do them any more? What they'll have to investigate in future isn't anything to do with it...]

Pretty much, yeah. It wasn't literally inside the TV, we just kinda used 'em as a portal to get in there... it was somethin' we were given the power to do.

And only a few of you had this power, right? When you and Yosuke told me about it before it didn't seem like it was something just anyone could do.

Yeah. It was just me 'n my friends in our town. ... and a coupla other people who were ...involved in the same mess. [He pauses.] I dunno where the guys from elsewhere got theirs.

That's really interesting, the fact that only some of you were given the power and others weren't. Do you find the power helpful, or is it more of a hindrance?

Yeah... it's kinda complicated what happened, but it ain't just something anyone could do. It was something we had t' keep secret for a few reasons.

[He shrugs, looking a spot awkward-]

An' now here I am talkin' to you about it.

[brainiest]

[ She grins, nodding her head. ]

It's okay. The magic in my world is supposed to be a secret too, but... I'm not sure if that matters here anymore.

...That's just it, ain't it? We can all do the same stuff, here. ... Uh, well, different bits of the same stuff, but we've all got somethin'. It ain't 'us' and 'them'. So what's the point?

[brainiest]

Exactly. We're all here to help one another and for anyone with magic a lot of the powers are similar to what we had at home, so it seems a little silly to act like it isn't normal here. We're not separate people anymore, we're all a group.

Right.

... I hope the others don't mind me talkin' about this stuff, though. Heh.

Well, Yosuke has already started telling me a few things and he seems to think Souji wouldn't mind either, if that helps.

I only want to know things you're all comfortable with me knowing and writing down. It's your home, after all.

That's cool. Is there anythin' you really want to know?

I would like to know more about the Shadows that need you to be 'honest' to face, if you wouldn't mind?

[And then he promptly goes a bit red.]

The Shadows. Right. Uh... they're... they're you. They're the stuff you don't wanna think about about yourself...

[brainiest]

So, parts of you or emotions you feel that you don't want anyone to know? Things that you hide so deep you're denying it even to yourself?

[realmenknitplushies]

That's ... [not looking quite at the camera here] ... pretty much it, yeah. They come to life in there.

[brainiest]

That sounds horrifying. If they're things you don't want to admit then facing them must be awful. Like Boggarts of my world.

[Thinking back to his own...]

...Yeah. I mean, I dunno what a Boggart's like, but once was bad enough: havin' the mirror world remind me about it ... yeah.

[brainiest]

Oh! Of course, I'm sorry, I should've explained. A Boggart is a magical creature in my world that takes the shape of whatever the first person it sees most fears. If you were terrified of snakes, for example, it would transform into a giant python.

[ Her expression softens and she leans forward, concerned. ]

Are you alright now?

...okay, damn. That's gotta be awful. [And for a moment, his mind flickers out to - what would his be? (Especially when his greatest fears aren't so much things as places or concepts...)

An' I'm fine, don't worry! The thing with Shadows, though: you get some that just look like monsters. Those, you can just beat the hell out of. But the big ones, the bad ones, the ones you've gotta own everythin' up to... [quieter] they look like you.
