[ Regina Mills meets you today dressed in a royal blue jacket and tailored black pants and though she could really use a change of clothes, she isn't about to make this her point. No, instead she folds one leg over the other, every hair in place and lifts her chin. all in all, she appears to be, well, regal.
Who expects less from the Evil Queen? But for the moment, she is more Regina than Her Majesty. Her voice may be deep and commanding, a no-nonsense tone sitting there but the subject of why she addresses the whole city, well. ]
Asgard.
[ the only 'hello' and 'how do you do' that you'll get. ]
I won't ask you how do you do because honestly, it'll be more than a bit ridiculous of a question given everything. I arrived here nearly a month ago and to my understanding, we are expecting another influx of unsuspecting people who were minding their own business before being sent here.
My son is not in the city, I don't know if he'll ever be in the city. But just in case, I ask you to be aware. His name is Henry, he is twelve. There are not many little boys in this city but if you'll need a picture, I can provide one.
[ it feels wrong to be showing a picture of Henry and her to a crowd of unfamiliar faces. ]
I also know that there have been a number of - well, there is no other way of saying it but gruesome in this city a while ago.
[ Like you can talk, Regina, you rip people's hearts out. ]
Know this. Henry is my son. I will not see him harmed. Not for the world.
[ her eyes go darker, flare in anger and the threat. well. the threat is very present. Like a mama bear who just made it very clear that her young one will be protected at the cost of her own life. ]

You might be better served to try and figure out what house he might end up in, or at least narrow down the gods who'd never have any interest in him.
[ well. he's special. ]
I have a few possible guesses.
[His brother, his best friends, all in different houses.]
There are enough plenty of nice sorts in Asgard I'm sure he'll be sent to you before you can blink.
[ she gives him a once-over and then, for once since this whole post began, her tone softens a bit. ]
Do you have family here?
.... No.
And your house? I don't suppose it's Freya. I haven't seen you here.
[ she would remember the ears but even she doesn't remark on that. ]
I'm in Hel House. [Not the most welcoming sorts there.]
[ why is this child in Hel House? she blames the ears. ]
Do they cook in Hel House?
Would you trust something made by me?
.... What have I got to lose, I guess... Where should I meet you?
[Video] to action?
action!
[Action]
Regina-san? [He called out, wondering if she might have changed her mind about all this and was just making a meal for one. He came out a little further and bowed in greeting before holding out a potted orchid flower.]
Er... for you. For... this.
[Action]
for me? Thank you. It's beautiful. I'll put it by my window, it'll need light.
[ she gestures for him to follow her. ]
I made lasagna and salad. both of which you can take home as leftovers. Sit.
[ and then she stops, blinks ]
--- Have you washed your hands?
[Action]
I'll go do that now, regardless.
[He comes back, not too much later, hands clean and smelling the air.]
It smells amazing, Regina-san.
Thank you... for the company... [He really didn't want to be alone right now, but only had a few to reach out to.]
[Action]
[ an odd thing coming from the woman who was queen and had an entire kingdom bend a knee to her. but he is a child and under her care and she would not put this sort of distance between them. ]
-- You're welcome.
[ she smiles a bit, at that. brings plates and places the flowers on the table. ]
I should thank you for yours.
[ said as she moves salad and a piece of lasagna to a plate and places it in front of him. ]
[Action]
[His ears perk as he takes a deep breath of the lasagna. His tail swishes.]
This smells amazing, Regina-san.
[He put his hands together and with a content "let's eat" started in on the food. The happy swish of his tail became even more rapid once his taste-buds got a chance at the food.
He had had plenty of meals from the table in Hel, but there was just something about the way a home cooked meal from a mom tasted.]
This is wonderful, Regina-san.
[Action]
[ she admits it with a bit of an awkward smile. everything that is polite and nice doesn't yet sit naturally on her but she does try. ]
I started to really learn how to when I had my son.
[Action]
My mom [This he had to be very careful about wording.] Was very specific about the food I ate. So I've honestly never had lasagna before now.
[He takes several more bites, though he can't help but watch Regina a bit as he eats, partially to just watch her, and partially for the first shoe to drop.] My brother would put all her hard efforts to waste though, bringing home cakes.
[Action]
I was very mindful of Henry as well. I insisted he'll eat very healthily but I allowed him some candy here and there. Not too much but. I suppose that is what makes a mother a mother.
[ the dislike for sugary food. and the worry. ]
[Action]
He smiles, a little.]
My mother never allowed me candy, I think that's why my brother always snuck it in.
