Video - Day 398

[Hey, Asgard. Have a Stiles popping up on the screen, grinning a bit wider than usual.]

Okay, normally I'm not all cute kittens and cuddly fluffy things or talking baby talk to animals, because that's kind of dumb -- except when Rachel does it and then it's oddly endearing.

[He looks like he's actually trying to rationalize why that's a thing for a second, but it's only a second before he's back to paying attention to the screen again.]

Anyway, yeah, well, fluffy advocate or not, I figured there might be some people who'd find this amusing and maybe a little entertaining.

[The screen shifts, showing the center of what is Stiles' bedroom. There's a wolf cub sitting there, looking up at him with its little tail wagging. The screen shifts a little to show the bed, Hale sitting there looking up at him as well, giving a tiny chirp. After about three seconds, Stiles yells, "KAMIKAZEE!" and Hale screeches, jumping from the bed onto the cub -- who happens to be jumping for the dragon at the same time.

There's a tussle of fur and scales, wings flapping and yips, growls, chirps, and squawks sounding before the cub stands, pinning the dragon down by his wings and tipping her head up, giving a tiny little baby howl in victory before flopping down on top of her defeated foe.

A wing curled over the cub and they both just sort of cuddled up, little huffs and sounds leaving them like they were having some kind of private conversation.

The screen went back to Stiles.]

Okay, I'm secure in my masculinity and all that, but come on... how adorable was that?

Enjoy it while it lasts, mate, 'cos I think you get a few months of adorable before it all goes a bit more claw and fang-y.

That is a dragon, isn't it? Where the hell did you find a dragon?

She drew him, and she made him permanently tiny while she was at it? That's awfully specific, isn't it. Why not draw him without claws and fangs in the first place?

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-06 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Obviously she'd just draw 'em on again. If she's that clever with pens and ink, she ought to be able to get him new teeth in no time. Or teeth that are even larger, should the situation call for it.

All right, keep your hair on. How would I know how the drawing thing works, as it's not mine. You can't pretend as if these abilities actually make some logical sense. For all I know, your girlfriend could draw a new dragon any time she got bored with this one.

Which, before you overreact to that as well, I'm not saying she would. The one you've got is perfectly... [not sure about using this word] adorable. For a dragon.

He hates emus. And he's had a lot of opportunities to express this hatred of emus, or were you telling me that so I'd see him as more adorable... or less.

Actually-- [He squints, thoughtfully.] I've never been much of an emu lover myself. Can't say the same for everyone here, apparently. There's those that have married themselves to their emu. It's a weird, weird thing that I can't wait to tell everyone I know about.

[snape and an emu, sitting in a tree, etc.]

[A pause. That is a very coincidental description...]

Right. And we wouldn't happen to both be referring to Snape, would we.

[oh my god GROSS don't even bracket suggest something so disgusting as relation]

Well, we can't expect too much of old Sniv. After all, he's gone his whole life being an unfortunate black-wearing weirdo with questionable predilections and preferences. Only stands to reason that he'd have grown creepier in his old age.

Uglier, too, which I didn't think possible, but he apparently strove to disprove me. And I mean, emus, really? What the hell is that about.

--Hang on, are you saying you set his emu on fire?

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-11 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
You're joking.

You singed Snape's robes and didn't immediately tell everyone you'd done it? Come on, mate, that's the sort of thing that you spread around! The world ought to know! And then you add the fact that you singed his emu as well--Merlin, you're owed a handshake, at least. A drink. All of the above.

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-12 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
It ought to have been a proud moment. Hell, I'm proud of you, and I don't even know you.

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-12 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
That's putting it lightly. He's famous for being a dick, where we're from. They've written poems about it. The whole look-it-up-in-the-dictionary, picture-of-his-face thing? It's actually true.

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-13 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, there's one in every universe. Loads in mine, actually, but he's the worst of them. You didn't actually sign up for his school, did you?
doggedly: (pic#3067512)

[personal profile] doggedly 2014-02-13 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Except neither of those things work, here. It's all these new abilities. Unless one of the gods gave you the gift of potions?
